Worst Bartender Ever! (The male working on Saturday 08/29/15 night) As a bartender, it is in my nature to look out for good customer service when I visit another establishment. I've encountered restaurant staff who have been slow and even ones who have lacked personality/ charisma, but what I experienced tonight was something I've never experienced before. The bartender was the rudest and most disrespectful restaurant staff I've ever experienced!! The way he treated me and my friends/family made me soo upset because I would never want any of my customers to feel the way I felt tonight. I live in New Jersey and we all met at my aunts house to have a farewell get together for one of my cousins who is joining the military and we decided to stop by the local pub for a few drinks. I would never come back to Keystone if I'm back in Bethlehem (I'll just make sure I visit the liquor store early lol) and I'm pretty sure my cousins who live in the area would question coming back to their local bar after such an unwelcoming visit. I do appreciate the female staff member (not sure if she was a fellow bartender or a manager) who did allow us to get drinks and seemed a lot nicer (the only reason I gave this place any stars) I'm a bartender in NYC and this guy would never make it with that nasty ass attitude of his. Hope he appreciated that 80% tip I left him...felt like I had a point...
Read moreI have been coming here as long as I can remember for nearly 20years. Always was a fun simple place for good eats and friendly atmosphere. Finally had a chance to go since the renovations have been done. Clean definitely, the white walls and elementary school drop ceilings really take away from the original place. But, atmosphere is one thing, bickering waitresses that ignore you while you’re patiently awaiting to be sat is not. Not a simple “hi, I’ll be right with you” but instead an eye roll and fighting for the next of… only two people coming in that entire 30 min. Remembering the nachos, they were epic. 3 people would be satisfied. Well, now you get basically a taco salad with some topping. Just a bowl/plate piled high with shredded lettuce to hide the meager plate that once was amazing. Then the chicken sandwich arrived… just the picture alone is all that’s needed for a restaurant sandwich to be judged. That is your standard size knife and salt shaker. Yes, you get one chicken tender and a 4” hunk of bread as your entree. No toppings, just a squirt of aioli sauce of sorts. Rubbery pink chicken. Stick to the wings if this is your kinda place to keep going. I’ll continue to go elsewhere. I am a 6 times a week restaurant diner, so I have a lot of experience .....
Read moreA complete clown show every time. Most recently I tried to order wings days before the super bowl so I would have them for the party. They told me to call the day of the event a half an hour before I wanted them and was assured they'd have them. I called in the afternoon the day of as instructed and was told they were already out of them. No wings for the Super Bowl party. The last couple times Ive been there the servers screw around with each other and dont wait on tables. It took almost 30 minutes for drinks. Then you wait forever for your food. While you wait for your food you run out of your drink with no service in sight for a refill. Then your food comes out cold. As a local "foodie" who frequents different restaurant establishments on a regular basis, Keystone Pub ranks very low in service and quality. Its a shame because its freshly remodeled and looks nice. But dont judge a book by its cover. The pub is disappointing. So much so that I rarely give google reviews but felt obligated to do...
