Eli's Original Steaks & Subs — Restaurant in Bethlehem

I have been trying to get here for about a year and finally got the chance. Eli's is considered a top 5 steak in the LV by a lot of people I respect so I had to find out for myself. I have at least a very strong top 3 so there is room in that top 5, but it'll have to knock at least one more decent steak out.

The meat was seasoned well, the onions were cooked well and had the proper dice to them, and the roll was solid. The ability to get cooper sharp on a steak always makes the place an instant point higher or so in my opinion. Steak was a bit pricey but what isn't these days? I would definitely say this slides into the top 5 in the LV for me.

I've heard their other sandwiches are just as good so i'll need to go back soon, but Eli's - Didn't Suck!

Eli’s Deli is an absolute gem. I ordered the large Philly cheese sandwich with house-made chips, and both were incredible. The sandwich was packed with flavor, perfectly grilled, and just the right amount of cheesy goodness. The chips were crispy, fresh, and a perfect complement.

Jay took my order, and Eli himself was on the grill—both super friendly and welcoming. The whole place had a great neighborhood vibe, the kind of spot where you feel like a regular even on your first visit. For $33, I got a sandwich, chips, and a soda, and honestly, the portion was huge—easily enough for two hungry people.

Outstanding food, great people, and a place I’ll definitely be returning to....

If you regularly enjoy hoagies/subs, you know it all comes down to the bread, and Eli's is perfect. Seeded or non, chewy with a nice crust that can hold up to the weight of ingredients, and not fluffy and falling apart like so many places around here. Not sure if they're making bread in-house or bringing it in, not that it really matters. Their sandwiches aren't cheap but they sure are filled with fresh ingredients. I also appreciated that (who I assume was) the owner asked me for my order to get started on while the couple in front of me was taking their time ordering from the staff at the register.
