I went to this location today to order breakfast just a quick dollar menu and coffee kind of meal. I put my order in, paid for it and lined up in the queue to await my Vittles. Now I know the procedure while the kitchen crew prepares the sandwich and the manager orchestrate what goes with what to get it out the door or out of the drive-thru, the cashier is supposed to prepare all coffee orders so that the hot beverage meets the food when the food is ready. But this time the cashier, who should and could soon be replaced by an unthinking Android, just stood there and chatted with someone who is obviously an acquaintance kind of getting me a dirty look. It goes without saying that no coffee was prepared. After approximately 10 minutes, I saw my order come up the manager bagged it, and brought it to the counter where she called my number and handed me my food. Managers and looked about for my coffee which cashier number one had not prepared. The manager asked her to get my coffee as soon as possible as my food was now my hand and the cashier gave us derisive snorts and went to make the coffee which took another five minutes. The whole time I was trying to get her attention because I wanted a courtesy cup for water so I can take my vitamins without drinking it out of my Coffee Lid? When I ask for said cup the cashier replied derisively with very discernible negative emotion we don't give them away anymore there's a charge for them. I was incredulous because I've been getting the courtesy cup 4 years and I think a penny cup is not too much to ask McDonald's to give away for a repeat customer - I don't know why - I repeated my request can I please have a courtesy cup for some ice water and promise not to share my coffee, I just need some water to swallow my meds and other than drinking it out of the spicket like a fountain which would be gross this is not really an option. So I repeated my request and asked for Courtesy cup again using the words please may I have the courtesy cup I just need to take my meds. The cashier with a very nasty tone very disrespectful attitude told me no I am not going to give you a courtesy cup like she owned the cops and it was putting her out to give me one. She told me you have to pay for it if you want it. So I asked to speak to the manager and for the third or fourth time repeated my request of please me I just have a courtesy cup the manager who was more polite told me that they do not give out courtesy cups anymore and that I would in fact have to pay for it. So I asked the next logical question, how much is the courtesy cup. At this the manager was befuddled and said I don't know and went to my new friend, the very unhappy cashier, and ask her what the price for a cup is to wish I got the same reply I have no idea at which point she turned her back and started to walk away. To be honest at this point if I'd had the time I'd had ever take the food back and be on my Merry way to work just coffee pretty much every convenience store between where I'm at and Easton where I was heading. This whole situation is just a continuation of a disturbing Trend in customer service at this location, and several locations around the Lehigh Valley. It just seems that the attitude that you get like the employees doing you a favor by serving your food or taking your order the general lack of urgency in preparing and getting the food out to the window good vibe talking and profanity sometimes hear employees constantly on the phone while customers wait for whatever they're waiting for I don't know I guess I'm just getting old to see all this nonsense but at this point I don't think I can go back to that McDonald's ever again. I'm tired of orders being correct it's usually a 50-50 toss of the coin whether something's going to be screwed up, the day more kiosks are installed to replace the rest of the incompetent rude employees working here is today I might return and try the restaurant again. Thank you for listening to my rent goodbye...
Read moreI placed a mobile order and ordered a meal to get the collectors cup, 2 hash browns, large frappe and a sausage McGriddle. I sent my partner to pick it up and he calls me saying they’re out of stuff to make mocha frappe fine no problem. Then he says they don’t have the collectors cup until tomorrow okay so I want a refund. The worker told him I have to contact my bank to get a refund since I placed an order through the mobile app. Please explain to me how I could dispute this through my bank? How would they believe I didn’t get my food 😭. So I told my partner to ask if I could bring the receipt tomorrow to get the cup, the worker heads back to ask and comes back saying they’ll give me the cup. Why are y'all tryna hold it till tomorrow if the app says it was released today? Okay my partner gets the cup and food but when he arrives back to work there’s no hash browns. So now I have to leave work to go back to get my missing food (since y'all don’t give refunds). I go to the drive thru and let them know my partner came earlier to pick up my order and Im missing food and the worker says pull up to the window. I hand her my receipt she looks at it hands it back then leaves and comes back with one hash brown I grab it and try to tell her I’m missing one more but she had already shut the window. So I’m waiting thinking maybe it wasn’t ready and she comes back asking if there was anything I was waiting for and I say I ordered 2 hash browns and you only gave me one. Then she came back with the other. If you asked for the receipt why your not actually reading what I was missing ? The worker just seemed upset like an attitude and that’s fine cause not everyone has a good day but it’s not my fault y'all tryna fight me on refunds, collector items and not giving me all my food that I ordered. The only good thing to come from this place is the older woman that works there in the mornings, she’s always been kind and I’ve never had any issues speaking with her. Also if it’s true that y'all can’t give refunds due to ordering on the mobile app then there needs to be a big warning sign on the app before I order because how is that fair if you guys don’t have what I want. Or a sign posted somewhere near the menu. Not everyone wants to get something else in place of what they...
Read moredec 10th i was at the register inside. placed order for burrito meal. was handed change and receipt. teller walked over to get my orange juice. i glanced at change and saw 2) 5$ and change. was supposed to get 13$ and change. i turned to manager standing right next to me fixing card machine at next register. i turn and say im missing 3dollars from my change. just then the tellers returning with my juice and says oh yeah your 3 dollars. did i forget it oh let me get that for you. teller clearly just stole my 3$ then acted as if she had just forgotten even though she just counted that change. yet acknowledge the 3 dollars before returning to see. so she knew the money was missing before she even looked to acknowledge the mistake. unfortunately this was the managers sign to realize and clearly she didnt. this is the first time ive had money stolen from this location. ive had 20+ minute waits in drive through. ive been the only person in line at 630AM waited 15 minutes then told they need to cook my hashbrowns as the guys putting out his cigarette and coming back inside. ive gotten half my order and realized when i got home. ive gotten the totally wrong order. ive gotten cold food. i lived up the street for 3.5 years and this location is by far the absolute worst mcdonalds ive ever been to. and that includes 15th st allentown where its dirty, they lock the bathrooms doors, and the workers have a terrible attitude, and kids flood the place and block door ways and curse loudly. and also sth4th st where they have 3 drive through windows and they still ask you to pull up and park. where you ask why 2 cheese burgers took so long to bring out and your told " its mcdonalds what can i say" where they hand you a drink cup with soda all down the side and the lids not on right and when you ask to wipe the cup you get an attitude. so even though all those other places are poorly managed this location is without a doubt the worst in the lehigh valley. thiefs...count...
