Ordered a CYO with the salted caramel dip and asked for twist ice cream. It came out with vanilla ice cream only, which isn’t a big deal but I tried the salted caramel dip and it did not taste like caramel at all, purely tasted like white chocolate. When I told the staff, the individual who rang me up was very kind and said that they could fix it, but when he went and spoke to the staff in the back about remaking it, the girls in the back said that “because the order wasn’t wrong” (even though it technically was because it was rang up as a vanilla when I asked for a twist) that they wouldn’t remake it for me, but I could pay for extra for them to put a different dip on top or pay for another one entirely.
I am not one to complain because I know how hard it can be working in the service industry as someone who has done it for 5+ years. But for how pricey it is and to not be accommodating when someone has a complaint that could easily be resolved, is really off putting. If the complaint has been taken care of with a little bit more kindness from the rest of the staff (excluding the man who rang me up) I wouldn’t have had an issue. But they weren’t. So I ended up spending $7 for a small ice cream that I did not even get to enjoy, unless I wanted to pay more money for them to fix it. Definitely...
Read moreDon’t waste your time or your money. I went with friends and our kids after dinner for dessert. The kids were excited to try a new ice cream spot in town. My family ordered the blueberry, the mint, and a strawberry infused cone. First, the price is incredibly deceiving. They charge a $1 for each topping on the cone. We ordered mediums which were advertised at $5, but paid $7 per cone. The mint was supposed to have crushed Andes Candies, but came out with mini chocolate chips and a chocolate drizzle. I didn’t think anything of it because my dip was supposed to be mint flavored, however after my first bite, I realized it was just green overly sweet white chocolate. Since it had no flavor, I took the dip off and threw it out thinking I would just eat the vanilla soft serve. That too had no flavor - not even a hint of vanilla. My daughter’s strawberry infused cone had a little strawberry syrup on top - nothing infused at all. We didn’t even finish our cones. If you are on Main St. Bethlehem and want well made ice cream with fantastic flavor, walk a few doors down to the Penn State creamery. You won’t pay $21 for three cones, either. The one star is for the...
Read moreWe Walked down during Musikfest after I saw the blueberry cobbler posted and it did not disappoint! So delicious. My ice cream was literally bursting through the chocolate dip which was cracking all over the place so I found it difficult to eat, however everyone else’s ice cream seemed a more reasonable size so maybe I looked hungry LOL. Definitely too big of a serving for myself, I felt bad wasting but tossed half of it. I don’t think they make smaller sizes in the featured flavors, but next time I’ll ask for a smaller portion anyway. Yes it is pricey, however it’s a fun concept and you’ll pay $15 for a drink that you could make at home but you don’t want to pay $10 for an ice cream that you most likely could not make at home? I’ll definitely be back! That blueberry cobbler...
