I have been going here for over 60 yrs . Lately we have been getting take out rather than dining in which we still do on occasion. Yes the ownership did change . And the food is sill good . The pizza and cheese steaks are not exactly as the original, but pretty darn close . We love the pizza . But since they are all made from scratch the is some variation. New owner’s pizza seems to have a little more cheese than the original. Still great . Pepperoni is actually a specially made sausage the is more spicy than the usual pepperoni . You will not get that anywhere else. Also the amount of Cheese and sauce used can vary along with cooking time. All these factor in. We find it better one day and a little below par on others . But still good. Don't expect the pizza to be the typical stuff you would get from your run of the mill Italian restaraunt because it isn’t. Most will love it but some wont .The cheese steaks are not your typical Philly style either. They are better. Cheesesteaks can be a little dry if you order them without onions. They cook them in with the steak and they become carmelized. They use a special steak sauce that is not a marinara style . Its thin and tomato based . Never seen anything like it anywhere else . I order it on the side . Plus no cheese whiz or provolone cheese . They use mozzarella and bake it . Don't expect anything special with the burgers, sandwiches fries or pierogies . But they are not bad. Not everone will love this place, most will. Go for the pizza and cheescheese steaks . They are a unique variation that is not duplicated anywhere. The wait staff wont spoil your experience if you dont expect them to bend over backwards for you . This is not a fine dining restaraunt. Also the new owners now take credit cards which is a good...

Read moreI hadn’t planned on leaving negative reviews no matter how bad things got at any restaurants I went to because the last thing I wanna do in this time of Covid is make it more difficult for businesses are struggling to stay alive and do the best they can. However, the experience I had a cross roads tonight was so far beyond horrible I absolutely had to leave a review. I had to take my daughter to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia today we found out that she will have to have a major surgery this summer. She’s 11 by the way. Obviously we laughed she was very upset and crying so I promised her we would go to our favorite cheesesteak place. That seem to lift her spirits and even though it was an hour away and we were starving we made the tractor cross roads. There we sat waiting to be seated for 10 minutes and just us at the scene there were a whopping two other tables in there at the time the place was basically empty and was 545 on a Monday night. Well we finally got seated and another 15 minutes later finally got our drinks. There we sat for an hour waiting for our food the people who ordered right before us were better than halfway through their meal and two other tables came in were seated and got their food. I didn’t realize it would be so challenging to order two cheesesteaks and a plain cheese pie. Clearly more than crossroads kitchen staff was capable of handling. We walked out after waiting an hour for food and didn’t even get to eat. Not even an apology as we walked out the door from crossroads staff I want to thank you guys for making a horrible day even worse and upsetting a little girl even more. Really great operation you’re running there hope you guys are out of business in a...
