Wendy's — Restaurant in Bethlehem

We stop and walk in because I needed to use the bathroom before ordering our food. While in the bathroom an employee from Wendy’s in uniform walk in and used to urinal that is next to the bathroom sink. I was just finishing washing my hands and proceeded to dry my hands. I noticed that the employee did not wash his hands after using the bathroom and headed back to work. He opened the door leading to the front counter, stop and put his hands on the counter while the cashier was telling him what to do next in the kitchen. While the employee walk to the kitchen area I told the cashier that he was just in the bathroom and did not wash his hands before returning to work. Apparently the employee heard me talking to the cashier and as she turned to talk to the employee he started screaming in a threatening way to me. He said “there is no were that says that I have to wash my hands two times, so I am washing them now, what is your problem”. While he was screaming at me from the back of the kitchen, a manager came to the cashier area, but he just look at me and continue helping with the window orders. To make things worse the cashier just looks at me and said “I guess he is washing them now! I screamed back to the employee that, I was concern with my health and those around me. Other customers were making comments to the fact that they could not believe that the manager did not say or do anything to correct the situation. I have never experienced such attitude from employees of a fast food restaurant or the lack of concern of people that are in-charge. Update 09/29/22: Service remains incredibly slow. Today I placed a mobile order from their app for just a drink. There were six orders ahead of me in the queue. Instead of filling easy orders to get people out the door, they strictly use a first in first out model for fulfilling orders. So I had to wait over 25 minutes for the six orders before mine with multiple food items to be cooked, before my they poured my single drink into a cup. To make it worse they gave me the wrong drink. So I had to wait even longer to try and get an employee's attention in order for them to make the beverage that I actually ordered. Lastly we also got to witness a screaming argument between the manager and one employee which ended in the employee being told to go home. Extremely poor management which was reinforced when the employee came to the front counter to apologize to all the customers that witnessed the outburst. The manager never said a word to the 15 or so customers standing around waiting for their food. Terrible place.

Service at this place was never good but recently it has become terrible. They never keep to their posted hours closing early whenever the employees feel like it. I always use the mobile app to preorder and prepay and have been burned by this at least 5 times by this location by placing my order but the store being closed when I get there to pickup. Also makes no sense that this location directly off the interstate exit insists on closing at 8:00pm when the two other Bethlehem locations nowhere near a major highway stay open until 10 or 11pm.

For a location that is so convenient the establishment sucks. There is always a line in the drive thru and even if you pull up and there is no one in line you still find yourself waiting 5 mins just for them to take your order. I swear they only help 1 customer at a time. So before you are even allowed to order the previous person pays and gets the food and ready to drive off. If they are waiting for their food why cant I at least order. Yesterday I went to get a salad. There were 2 cars in front of me in the drive thru once the first car went I guess the truck in front of me waited so long he drove off. I pulled up and no one said anything. There was no one saying "one moment " "I'll be with you"... nothing to acknowledge that they knew I was there. Knowing that they are usually slow I figured I was suppose to wait. But then I found myself waiting almost 5 mins and no one still did not say anything. So I made noises so that they would know I was there. Still nothing. So then I thought with the truck in front of me that drove off, maybe they thought I was him and was trying to decide what I wanted to order so I said hello incase they didnt know I was there. And a lady comes on saying that how the person in front of me had a large order. There was no apology for the wait and then I'm like how was I suppose to know . She tells it to me like I was suppose to know that the person in front of me had a large order like I'm a mind reader or a psychic. I just felt it was rude. After waiting another 3 to 4 minutes I ultimately got out of line and drove off. It was not...
