3/24/2024 This was my first time going to this Taco Bell & we were not disappointed. We didn't go inside, but the exterior of this location looked great despite the odd pairing of an attached business which is a Jiffy-Lube. Whoever designed the shared external appearance did a great job of coming up with something that works for both at the same time. We chose this Taco Bell location based on where we could place an order online & on what businesses were open after the snow and ice storm knocked out power dang near everywhere that was local to us. This day, 03/24, was also my daughter's 14th Birthday which we had to reschedule due to the snow/ice storm having knocked out our power at 9:00 pm Saturday night. As you can imagine she was very disappointed by this. After going over all of the fast-food options that are normally available & spending several hours driving around looking for an open gas station & a place to get food my daughter decided on Taco Bell. What she chose could only be ordered online 🙄 which eliminated any KFC/Taco Bells closer to us. Being her Birthday I was not going to deny her the food that she wanted even though that meant that we had to drive from Westbrook to Biddeford to get it. The BIDDEFORD TACO BELL automatically gets 5 Stars just for being open. We ordered online (see ADDENDUM). Even if this Taco Bell had gotten the order completely wrong or the employee on the intercom & again at the window had been out of their mind, inappropriate & spouting tourrettes fueled profanities at me I'd still give this Taco Bell 5 Stars. Of course, none of that happened & the service was excellent. This says a lot about the employees of this location since they were having a hectic, crazily busy & stressful day due to being one of the few places that were open after the snow/ice storm & they handled it very well. We picked up our order & immediately drove to the "Ocean State Job Lot" parking lot so we could eat our food. The food was very good. To be honest, it was much better than it ever is from the other Taco Bells we go to. The vegetables were fresh & still crisp. The other Taco Bells that we go to always give us mushy limp vegetables. I am giving the Biddeford Taco Bell located at 460 Alfred Rd, Biddeford, ME 04005 - 5 Stars Overall 5 Stars for Food 5 Stars for Service, but I can't give any Stars for Atmosphere because we ate in my Jeep Grand Cherokee with our 14-month-old puppy, Carley, whining & begging for a taste of our food. I created my own bad atmosphere so that's all on me. LOL. My daughter got the food that she wanted &, in the end, that is all that matters. To everyone who was working on 03/24/2024 at the Biddeford Taco Bell, I say THANK YOU! I appreciate you. We will be doing all of our online Taco Bell ordering from you from now on. ADDENDUM: I'd just like to share a bit about our experiences from a different Taco Bell & our inability to place online orders from any KFC/Taco Bell locations. We have to order from the Taco Bell located at 1363 Washington Ave, Portland, ME 04103 because it is the only Taco Bell that you can place an online order at in our area. This is extremely INFURIATING because there is a KFC/Taco Bell 5 minutes away from us right here in Westbrook. If we can't order online from the KFC/Taco Bell locations then they should not be allowed to be called a Taco Bell. Read moreThis was probably the worst service I’ve ever had at a Taco Bell location. My family ordered on the Mobile app and arrived at this store. We waited for over an hour before anyone even addressed us. At that time we were the only ones in the store and the drive through was slow. When we asked how long on our order they said they hadn’t even started making it yet. When they finally finished it, I asked a short haired blonde girl if they had a manager in and she said, “yeah why?” And then rolled her eyes and told him to come talk to me. I was then addressed by a tall skinny male who was very rude and wanted to yell at me from the line. He said he couldn’t come over and talk to me even though he knew why I was a little upset. I politely asked him if he could refund our $140 order for the extreme wait time and he said he could give me a coupon for 1 free taco and proceeded to walk away without another word. I work in food service and if my restaurant ever did something like this we would be out of business VERY quickly. I have worked in the fast food industry in the past so I understand that things like this can happen, but it should be corrected with manners, politeness, and more than a single free taco. There were also at least 4 door dashers waiting for a LONG time to pick up orders. I understand that they make hourly wages at Taco Bell so performance isn’t a necessity, but dashers rely on tips. Read moreAttempted to place order on DoorDash. It went through but when the driver arrived they said they never got it. We tried to place it again and they still didn't get it. My driver was kind enough to read them my order verbatim to get it ordered through the front counter. Despite him reading it to them, none of it was correct.
The order was supposed to be a combo with a crunchwrap with chicken add jalapeños and Chipotle sauce, a DLT supreme and a Baja blast zero sugar. A soft potato taco was supposed to be customized with creamy jalapeno sauce. What we received was two regular crunchwraps, no modifications, one DLT supreme, one regular hard taco, and a soft potato taco. In the time my driver was there, several other drivers came in and had no issues getting their orders for their customers.
Pretty sure my order was just ignored due to substitutions.
