My partner and I was seated quickly. We sat next to a window which had a lovely breeze. The hostess/waitress was nice. Place is small but has plenty of parking.the food came out in under 10 minutes after we ordered. With that being said my food was not so great. The rice was hard and the enchiladas flavor was overpowered by the clumps of cheese. The beans tasted like it was from a can. The salsa was the most dissapointing. My partner ordered the asada wet burrito which he said was really good.

Delicious as ALWAYS! Fast, friendly service. Great prices, great value. Home cooked Mexican food, made with love. Quant quarters, locally loved spot. 33 yrs on the mountain. This is our go to for yumminess. Try the enchiladas!!! Or my hubs favorite, carne asada wet burrito, add guac ;) Quick tip... if u want a tasty grab n go, call ahead. Everything is done in 10 minutes.

Great little local spot with outdoor seating and table service! I tried the chili Verde burrito which was tasty. Not really apicyey but it had good flavor. Chips were okay, salsa was nice and hot. The service was excellent. Very friendly too.

Not good at all today. Been coming here probably close to 30 years or more, but it seems like the quality of the food has gone downhill in the past several years. The bacon on my BLT was very tasteless and looked freeze dried and like it was cooked in a microwave. The Jamaica juice tasted like watered down Kool-Aid. I even asked the waitress if it was made out of powder because it had a powder film on the top of it. I really hate to say it, but sadly it was all pretty awful. The chips beans rice and just about all that tasted like it came out of a bag or can, and just didn't really have that authentic Mexican taste to it at all anymore. Did not really think it was a great idea to leave the front door open, as we were fighting off flies through our whole meal. That in itself became very annoying. We have gave them several chances over the past six or eight years , and it's been about the same downhill quality. Sadly, it is time to say goodbye to La...

So for quick, cheap, Mexican food this will do the trick. I'm not a real foodie so I will go to places like this. I have the chicken burrito and it was okay to the taste. The whole thing was just filled with chicken. And I would say the quality of the chicken was questionable. The taste of the food was okay but I definitely would not say it was anything gourmet or special. I'm sure they probably had other things on the list that were really good but I felt like the quality was just thrown together. Don't expect a lot such as a fancy sit-down restaurant. And then you won't be disappointed. I am wondering if my bowels are feeling it a little bit from...

Grew up in this town, I have nothing good to say about it except a handful of restaurants. My family regularly ate at La Paws since I was a child and even after having long moved to the city, La Paws is still my favorite restaurant. The only thing I regret, is having to drive to Big Bear if I wanna enjoy their food. I wish they'd move their business to somewhere around LA or at least open another location, they'd make way better profits.

Update: went here for my birthday for the first time in about 9 years, I was happy to find the same chef still works here and I can attest, even despite living in the city, La Paws is still the best Mexican food...
