Belle's Coffeehouse — Restaurant in Big Rapids

I really wanted to like this shop but their prices are too high. I spent $10 on a 12oz latte with regular milk. This price would’ve been fair if they were good, but the latte fell flat and tasted like more syrup than coffee. I’m all for paying more for high quality, but this was lower quality in taste than Biggby while being a higher price. The atmosphere felt dull, not warm or inviting. When I had asked for recommendations and she shrugged and didn’t offer any input. My one coffee took about 10 minutes to make and it was not delivered with a lid despite being take out. When I asked for one, the barista just nodded towards a self serve area with lids and didn’t say anything. Overall just not very friendly and extremely overpriced for the experience.

I went into this new coffee shop excited. I ordered my drink and stood there waiting for it to be made. The person who took my order walked away so I figured the other lady was going to make my drink, she proceeded to make herself a cup of coffee, drink the coffee and share it with her coworker while chatting while my drink order sat there in front of her. After waiting for a few mins the second girl asked if I had been helped, I told her my order had been taken but that’s it. So they told me I could sit down and they would bring it to me.
