When placing my order I had to repeat myself numerous times, and the tone of the employee's was a mix of not knowing what they were doing and not really paying attention, lack of interest in what I was saying. No matter the location I have always received my drinks first when payment was made. I received my food first and processed to wait an additional 10-15 minutes for my drinks getting various glares from workers inside walking past as I waited. I asked for a drink carrier and had to wait another 5minutes while they gathered that, after having to ask for it twice as the guy at the window had wondered off while I was midsentence asking for it. Luckily I looked in the bag, as I didnt have straws for my drinks. I got to my food and both the orders of Dr. Pepper were horrid. The Dr. Pepper syrup had ran out all but completely, they didn't look like a cup of soda, more like a cup of very weak tea it was that out. The chicken tenders tasted like the oil, that they were fried in, hadn't been changed in a good while. And the toast was folded like it had been smushed into the box.The mushrooms on the swiss burger tasted off, they were completely soggy like they'd been frozen and thawed, that waterlogged mushroom taste. Luckily on the double burger I didnt have any issues, the only thing of the order that was ok. Never thought I'd say it, but I'll stop at McDonald's next time I go through Big Springs, at least I know I cant be disappointed with their lack of quality as it is just McDonald's afterall. Really disappointed....I expected better...and was gravely disappointed....I'd give -5 stars if I could.... I filed a complaint with Wataburger directly because this kind of customer service was unacceptable. I have worked food service myself, so I try to be understanding, but that understanding only goes so far...I won't be back. Edit: was reached out to by the manager, only resolution offered was for me to drive back to Big Springs (I don't live there) for them to remake the food. Refused any other form of compensation for the disgusting order and horrid customer service. Still don't go through there, and won't...
Read moreThis is the absolute worse Whataburger I have ever had the displeasure of experiencing. On a road trip headed home 11/26 we purposely looked for a Whataburger to eat at. We found this one on Google Maps. We ordered online 15 minutes before we got there and still waited another 25 before we got our food. It was excuse after excuse. Once we finally got the food, we were missing a shake and a tea. Then we had to wait for the tea to brew. I told one of the 9 workers to swap the tea for a sprite. I was met with disgust and told it "would only be 2 more minutes" and was denied swapping out my drink. Took the food outside to the car (because I had to go in to get it) and was missing the chicken from the chicken basket. No straws, no napkins, no nothing. Saw either 2 team leaders or 2 managers. They were no help. Watched one walk out to her car and go back in. Not a word was said. Saw the other step out if the office, look around and went back in the office. There were 8 cars in the drive thru. It wasn't moving. 4 people eating at tables inside. How do you get so far behind in making burgers when you have that many people working at 2 in the afternoon. Makes no sense. Avoid this...
Read moreI walk up to the front door of this whataburger to see a manager of some level in a tan shirt and an employee carrying in boxes so I wait and hold the door for them. We walk in and i wait at the front counter for several minutes while 5 or 6 employees walk around and look me in the eye and never once ask if I've been helped. The manager stand rights next to me at ththe front counter tapping her fingers on the counter and also looks me in the eye yet says nothing. Mind you I am they ONLY one in line. Then after a few more minutes the manager finally asks have you been helped? Which I'm irritated at this point so I say no I'm standing here wondering if anybody is actually working the counter or not. I then proceed to order a sweet and spicy bacon burger with no onions. I get a dry and plain not so sweet and not so spicy non existent bacon burger. It is ever apparent that at this establishment minimum wage means minimum brain power as well. This is only the most recent visit to this whataburger and I can assure you after this and my past experiences here I will make sure to specifically avoid this whataburger and drive to colorado city or...
