El Nopal Cafe — Restaurant in Big Spring

This place is okay might try something else next time. I asked what was the main dish to order for breakfast and they said the HUEVOS RANCHEROS. The sauce needs to be thicker it's more like clear or just so thin I didn't know it had any just knew it was on there because of the little onion and bell pepper or jalapeños. We asked for bacon, but the bacon was that thick ham looking stuff sounds good but no it was more fat then meat but the meat side was to tough. I've had it at other places and I guess it's cheaper, but shouldn't go the cheaper route because it leaves a bad taste and it's tough when it's a little cooler. The service is great nice lady. The coffee awesome, would give it another try but this time maybe the burritos or pancakes. Just maybe try the sauce you give for the chips for the ranchero sauce, it needs to...

I arrived at 7 AM for breakfast. Eddie is the owner and he greeted me nicely. Started my morning with a couple cups of coffee and then I ordered something that you must try! The breakfast enchilada! I added hamburger meat, cheese, side salad, extra red chili And a tortilla on the side it came with beans and potatoes. I have marked this in my favorites so I can be sure come here as I only visit one to two times a year. I am here from another state and was looking for real authentic Mexican food. This place definitely is not.... And is way over priced for the bad little plates you do get served. It is not a place I would recommend to anyone I care about....the food was that bad! Sorry , just being honest .... i suggest a better menu with authentic food and maybe up grade your place if your going to charge high prices.
