Disappointed to say the least. Having been a loyal customer of Starbucks for years before moving to Billings, today I decided to give the local establishment a try. I'd heard great things. I ordered 2 venti iced Con Pannas.. one with 2 shots, the other with 4. As the nice young lady handed both drinks through the drive thru window I noticed immediately that they were lacking in the quantity department. Both filled just over half of the 20 ounce cup. When I mentioned this fact the young lady explained that this was the result of having only 2 shots added. I then looked at the coffee that had the normal 4 to note it's lack of contents as well. I believe this young lady didn't realize the difference in shots as she hadn't made them herself. The gal that had though, shouted very rudely, that one did indeed have 4 in a way as if to say, "That's what you get, take it or leave it." I thanked the girl at the window and quickly explained that I wouldn't be back. I then drove the 9/10 of a mile down Grand Avenue to the, ever so pleasing, Starbucks. I ordered a venti Iced Cinnamon Almondmilk Macchiato. As the window barista handed me my cup 'o' bliss I pointed out, with my City Brew Coffee (or lack there of) in sight, how the 2 differed. I explained that I'd paid for a venti, but a venti it was not. I then raised the plastic cup containing ALL of the required goodness as I proclaimed, "Now...
Read moreThey have so many different flavor options and allow you to completely customize your own coffees! I am a very picky person and they actually love the challenge of making my Frappes. You don't find that very often. In fact, most people hate those that like their products a very specific way. And to top that off, most of the batistas have gone the extra step and even memorized my cooky frappe concoction. Talk about impressive!
I suggest City Brew coffee to everyone I know! They have the best coffee in Billings and you can't forget their amazing and forever changing baked goods! They always seem to have new options. They bring a lot to the table and I don't foresee them being beat by another coffee shop anytime soon. Cheers City Brew and thank you for the great coffee, customer service and plenty of...
Read moreOne of the baristas this week mocked someone with a disability while they were trying to order coffee. We were appalled she didn't have any concern for his health. He seemed shook to be treated so poorly and she laughed again as he showed her his medications and tried to stand up for his rights. Would love to submit a complaint to the ADA for him if we knew who he was. We've seen him in here with a service dog before. Girl was snotty and snooty, like their company policy was more important than federal regulations. Would need to let her go to see us again. So much for weekly City Brews. They don't care to serve everyone with dignity and politely then they don't care to have my...
