This location just got my order wrong for the 4th time, and I’m just done. Different times of day, different crews, busy or dead; it doesn’t matter. They have effectively screwed up 75% of the orders I’ve given them.
The last time, the day manager was super courteous and handled the issue with enough professionalism that she pulled my relationship with Wendy’s out of the fire. I’m a sucker for the convenience of the only place on Grand on the way out to my house, and I tempted fate yet again this evening to predictable results. More fool me, I didn’t check my order before pulling away, and drove all the way home before discovering that I couldn’t eat what they’d served me.
So, another ten minutes back to Wendy’s, ten more minutes in the drive-thru line because the doors were locked, and at T+30 minutes from the time I received my errant order I was confronted by a pack of teenagers who were indifferent verging on surliness. Neither the kid in the window nor his manager/high school classmate could muster an “I’m sorry”. Refund in hand, I climbed out of my car to walk the increasingly inedible contents of my now loathsome, grease-sodden sack of resentment to the only trash receptacle stationed outside the building. With this error rate, they should definitely consider placing one immediately under the drive-thru window.
It’s been a ride, Wendy’s, but our time has come to an end. It’s been 30 years since my first memory of one of your establishments, and you’ve certainly tried your damndest to run me off. Tonight you...
Read moreTerrible management. I recently moved to Billings and have never really had a bad experience with another Wendy's facility before this one. I've gone here several times attempting to give them the benefit of the doubt only to be let down. The people they have running the drive through are quite possibly the most stupid, and rude people I've ever encountered in a fast food joint. A male teller couldn't do simple math in his head and pulled out his phone as a calculator. Even after using his phone, he somehow managed to give me the wrong change. I had to correct him several times over before the correct amount was given.
The second trip I did not have any issues with the employees but their lack of attention to detail is astounding. It's not difficult to follow directions when the only preference you are given is 'ketchup only'. My food had all the toppings w/ mayo which caused me to get sick and I ended up throwing my food away.
My last negative experience involved a female who could not balance taking orders and attending to the vehicle in front of her trying to give payment. She was rude and did not give the same courtesy that we have come to expect in the customer service industry. I thanked the employee as always and wished her to have a good day. Her response was a condescending 'I'll do that'.
Major training and employment reform needs to happen at...
Read moreAbsolutely terrible service at night! As a retail manager that works hard every day for 10 hours a day, the last thing you need is to wait 10 minutes at an empty drive thru and be greeted by a nasty punk of a child inside as if I stopped her from her Facebook time. "We are closing so i have stuff to do", she says....its 10 pm and you close at 12....... I eat there twice a week mid day and just about every night and its been getting worse every week for months! Even the manager on duty was being very rude and defensive with me over me asking for their names. What kind of standard is being trained there and what kind of manager allows this behavior to even continue? Lots if trust goes into food service and these stunts don't cut it....I want my money back I said as I'm not about to eat that food! Tossed out the window with an attitude and a slammed window....well...
