Waffle House — Restaurant in Biloxi

Service was great. The lady I had was so sweet. They got hit right after we came in at around 12am. She came up to us before taking their orders, while they was sitting and getting situated, made sure she refilled our drinks and we was good before she got busy with the many people that piled in. I was very pleased with her. I wish I remembered her name but she was 3rd shift crew. Food not so great. Chicken was cooked so long it was dry as can be an chewy, my scramble eggs had shells through out it. Every bit I took had a piece of a shell. Cook didn't seem like he wanted to be there. I use to work 3rd shift and loved it but I know how boring and slow it can be. Then you get big crowds for about an hour then die and that happens throughout the night. Came in at 10 pm something. Now it was a full house but there is one thing I did not like. As I'm standing waiting on my order to be taken it’s already been several minutes as I expect. A group of kids came behind me ready to pay for their order. Instead of Erica ( salesperson ) taking my order she allows them to skip me then continue to check them out. Then ignore me and go service customers that are already sitting down and enjoying their food. Now, Toni on the other hand was a big help AS SOON as she got free time on her hands she helped me and checked me out. I’m displeased with Erica but I’m grateful for Toni. I had the pleasure of being served by AJ at Waffle House, and I can honestly say they made my entire day. From the moment I walked in, AJ greeted me with a warm smile and a great attitude. They were attentive without being overbearing, super friendly, and made sure my order was perfect from start to finish. You can tell AJ really takes pride in their work and genuinely cares about the customers.

The food came out hot and just the way I like it—but the service was what really stood out. It's not every day you meet someone who brings that much positive energy to their job. AJ deserves all the recognition and then some. I’ll definitely be coming back—and hoping AJ is...
