We recently purchased back-splash with instillation through Home Depot in Biloxi. We started the process in April and now the beginning of June it is now complete. The contractor, Mark, contacted me in May stating that he did not have installers available to install my back-splash. Why would Home Depot sell a service that they could not provide. Also, dealing with Mark, our contract was specific that the materials would be delivered by the person who did the instillation yet four times (me twice and my wife twice) Mark contacted us asking if we had the materials at our house. I spoke to a man named Jim who said his boss would call me the next day about the delay yet I never revived a phone call. I'm sure all I would have heard was an apology as to why they couldn't hold up their end of the agreement but to not even getting a phone call really said a lot about their customer service. Finally on the day of our initial instillation, I was called by a Home Depot associate telling that if I didn't pick up my material it would be returned and my money refunded. I asked her why would I pick it up when they (Home Depot) were supposed to deliver it? These reason are why you received a two star rating. I cannot understand why there is such a miscommunication within your organization. If you cannot guarantee something then don't sell it. Read moreMy husband and I are looking to replace our Front Door and back patio doors and went to the Millwork Dept and spoke with a lovely Associate called Janice who is the Specialist there. She took us through everything and was very thorough and then made us an appointment for their sales person to come out and measure up and talk through options. Kevin called me that same night and told me he could come the next day between 1 and 3pm and would call me when he was on his way. I sat at home waiting and he was a no show. My husband called to see how things were going, I told him Kevin hadn't even called to let me know he was delayed, my husband called the store to find out what was going on. The Store Manager called Kevin and he blatantly lied to cover his back and told his Manager he'd told me he'd said he would be at our house between 2 & 5pm. Basically turning the tables, calling me a liar! Kevin then calls me saying he'd told me the night before that "he'd left it open ended as he only had two jobs this afternoon and was doing my measuring up on his way out of town". I said "Where is all this coming from? Nothing like this was discussed at all! You said you'd be here between 1 & 3 and then told your Manager 2 & 5, calling me a liar". He then lost all credibility and was no longer welcome at our home to do any kind of work and Home Depot just lost a few thousand...
Read moreI went here to buy 5 ft of rope. I tried to get assistance in cutting the rope with no success. Finally, I cut me 5 foot a rope and took a picture of the label on the shelf, where the rope was, and when I went to check out, was told that was not adequate enough. I had to have a card. I went back to wait for somebody to give me a card. The guy measured me five more foot a rope and told me to take a picture of the label. I explain to him that the woman in charge of checkout said I had to have a card that picture was not acceptable. He said oh no she’s up there today so I went back up there with the picture and him. She refused to use that so while I waited to buy $5 of rope he found a card after about 10 minutes then I was told for me to check out I had to go to customer service. I had eight people waiting in line. I told him I wasn’t gonna wait in that long line that already spent 15 minutes in the store I wanted to just simply pay for the 5$ rope and I was told I can go to the pro desk. The woman at the check out the whole time had not been friendly at all to me, and after I paid them while using the picture on my phone for the card, She I was forced to walk past her to leave she shouted sarcastically have a super Saturday.
