I had an incredibly disappointing experience at 3000 while trying to order two daiquiris. The bartender, who was a big, heavyset man, seemed completely disinterested in providing good service. After a frustrating two-minute wait for him to even acknowledge me, I was met with a dismissive attitude. When I asked if I needed to order from the other side, he responded with an unhelpful, "Aināt I right here?"
When I tried to place my order, he informed me that he could only serve me one drink, citing a policy that required another person to be present. He asked for my ID then and when I showed him he refused to serve me. I asked if it was because of my ID, and he reacted as if my Louisiana wallet was something he had never seen before. I explained it was my identification, but instead of being professional, he accused me of being "smart."
Despite my attempts to clarify, he made it clear that he wouldnāt serve me, even suggesting I could go to "Hush," as if to stereotype me based on my appearance. It was incredibly disheartening to be treated with such disrespect. For a grown man to feel comfortable belittling a young woman is unacceptable. I left feeling frustrated and disrespected, and itās a shame that a night out could be marred by such poor service. I truly hope he understands that actions have consequences, and that kindness goes a long way. Never again will I return to a place where Iām...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe arrived here on Christmas Eve. The bar only had about 8 people in there when we arrived. About 8-10 others came in while we were there. Since I am from La, I ordered a strawberry daiquiri with an extra shot of Captain Morgan's spiced rum. Once I mixed it up, I was good to go. I loved that there were hooks for my purse under the bar.
The bartenders and managers on duty were so nice. We had a great conversation. It was nice to hear that they will be opening another bar in Charlotte soon. Since that is where we live, we gave them a few options to locate to since they haven't found a place. We mentioned NoDa (North Davidson) and South End Charlotte. We look forward to having 3000 Bar in the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSo after a certain time they don't sell hookahs. I'll say about 11pm. There's a security guard at the entrance that charges you $10 before you enter. So by the time you get in and ask for a hookah, they have already taken $10dollars from you. You have an option to either stay or leave. I just went for the hookah and not the drinks so I left. The owner should inform the security to tell people about the cut off time for selling hookahs before they get inside. The place is super small and can probably hold about 40 people to 50 including the entrance area. 2 stars well deserved. I went to HUSH.... across the street and around the...
