This chickfila isnt what you would think a chickfila should be. Instead of greeting workers and a need to make customers happy, this CFA doesnt really care about you.
On teacher appreciation day, I left my badge in my car. The employee refused to give me the free chicken sandwich for teachers without showing my badge. I walked out to my car and wondered what the stipulations were for being a teacher. Alabama public school teacher, a professor, what about a graduate teaching assistant? Or an ESL non-profit teacher? Not all teachers have badges that prove they are teachers. Thankfully, I was able to retrieve mine and get the chicken sandwich but you'd think as great as CFA is, they'd just take my word.
Another time, I redeemed a sweet tea on my app. I scanned my code. The lady told me how much the tea was. I asked if my reward went through. She said no, scan again. I kept having to scan. Eventually, I had to show them that I actually had a sweet tea as a reward on my phone to prove I wasnt lying or trying to get it for free. They saw it, told me sorry, but they wouldnt give it to me since my code wasnt scanning. (It usually works). By this time, they had already poured the tea and it was just sitting there on the counter, they were waiting on me to pay. I debated on asking if I could just have it, since they clearly saw I had the reward in my phone and since the cashier already made it. I didnt ask so I wouldnt sound greedy, and turned to walk away after telling them sorry I didnt bring money in with me (which was true). They poured the tea out and through the cup away. I thought they would offer it to me because it's chickfila... but nah!
It's the most un-CFA I've...
Read moreMy sons and I stopped at this Chick-fil-A while we were out of town from North Carolina. I was extremely, extremely disappointed with the attitude and the lack of care that we received here. We waited longer than anyone else to get our order, and while we were waiting most of the servers were standing around joking, and I actually heard them say you better make those shakes, and the another said I ain't doing that. I don't normally talk about race and I certainly don't throw around the race card, but I really got the feeling that racism had something to do with this visit. My boys and I are white. Just about all the people working here were black. To me that's not something that I normally take note of, but the attitude and the stares and the way that we were treated certainly made me feel like we stood out like a sore thumb. Really, really strange. I am a bit concerned that there's a possibility that our milkshakes were spit in or something like that, probably not, but I got that kind of feeling that they could realistically do something like that. I love Chick-fil-A, and I hope that management sees this and is able to talk to their employees that were on today and talk to them about their attitude. They also didn't complete our shakes, with a couple of them not getting whipped cream or cherry. They also told me that the reason why our order took so long was that they were making a new batch of fries, but the fries that they gave us were definitely cold and old. When we asked them for straws and spoons for our shakes, they gave us...
Read moreI've never had a bad thing to say about Chick-fil-A, but there's a first time for everything. First red flag should have been no drive-thru, or clearly marked restaurant entrance. But we made our way inside, passing by a few obviously annoyed employees on our way in. Maybe that should have been the second red flag, but they're people, not robots. Everyone has "off" days. We ordered, paid, and waited. We didn't have to wait too long for our food. But I think the employee who handed it to me was also having an "off day" because she didn't ask if we needed any sauce (nor did the employee taking our order, for that matter) and seemed to be annoyed when she handed me the sauces I requested when I was handed my order. We walked straight out to our car and began our 2 hour drive home... Except our fries were cold, not salted, and stale. My sandwich was far from fresh and had American cheese, when I requested Colby jack. My daughter got a kids meal. Her nuggets were not fresh, her fries seemed to be from the same batch as mine, & there was no toy of any kind to be found. Under normal circumstances I would have called to speak to a manager, but we don't live locally. We were just in town for an appointment. After a long day at the hospital my daughter requested Chick-Fil-A... but it was sadly...
