This is unfortunate because I really liked this place, but I had a very negative experience here recently. I placed an order for ribs and fries, and because my husband and I really liked the food, we drove over 20mins, with a baby in tow, to pick up our order. Once we got back home, we found a hair in the food that was given to us. When I called them back to let them know, the manager was super rude. He asked me when I placed the order, I gave him a range because I didn't recall exactly (I wasn't looking at my watch while ordering). He must have felt the time between my estimate of when I placed my order and when I called to issue my complaint was too long for his liking so he asked why I was just calling to make the complaint when I did. I let him know that I had arrived home only a few minutes before calling. He sounded displeased and told me that they would make me a new order if I could bring back the food, with the hair in it, or send a picture (which I couldn't do because I had thrown the hair into the trash in my disgust and was not about to sift through said trash seeking the strand of hair for a photo-op). There was no apology, no attempt at ameliorating a situation that was their fault, but rather, I was asked to go out of my way as a customer and drive back with the food to verify my complaint before it would even be addressed. Note, I was entirely polite throught the entire conversation (because I was brought up right) and even thanked him before ending the call. Naturally, I didn't go back. It wasn't worth my further patronage of this establishment or my time. Further, given the rudeness of the person on the opposite side of the call, I couldn't guarantee that my food wouldn't be tampered with or something along those lines. While I am really disappointed to write such a review about a place I once enjoyed, I was even more disappointed to have received such callous treatment as a paying customer whose only crime was to uncover an errant strand of hair in her french fries...
Read moreWhile nearing the end of a lengthy hospital stay, I made the mistake of suggesting we try Moe's Bar B Que. My mother, who was kind enough to go and pickup 2 sandwiches, one pork, one chicken and a 4 sides. My mother, who usually assumes the best of people, left Moe's without checking the order. When we opened our sandwiches, I was dumbfounded. This was quite possibly the smallest barbecue sandwich I have ever seen served. I've had sliders that were more generous. Add to that the fact there was NO sauce on either sandwich. I understand everyone has their preference about "sauce" but honestly, I find it hard to understand why, if none was included on the actual sandwich, a small side would not be included. This was to be the only meal I had this day and I really wanted it to be something good. My sweet mom offered to go back to Moe's and ask them simply replace the sandwich with a fresh one that included sauce. My mom returned to my Hospital room to report that, although we had not taken a single bite, although we were not asking for money back only a decent replacement, she was flat out refused. No apology, no customer service and she, being the mild and relatively quiet person she is walked out with 2 tiny sandwiches, handled by multiple people, with no sauce and being treated rudely by a jerk who could not be bothered to provide what a paying customer asked for. Read moreIf I could give it no stars I would. On July 22nd at 8:04pm I placed a call in order as I typically would for 12 smoked wings. Once I arrived my order was missing, so I had to replace my order. This time I added an additional 6 wings, which brought the total of my wings to 18. Apparently my 12 wings had to be cooked, so 6wings came out first, and then an additional 12 came after 20 to 25 mins of waiting. My 12 wings were under cooked! I called on July 23rd spoke with Cody whom was EXTREMELY rude and condescending!!!! I was trying to explain what happened he over talked me constantly! For him to be a manager I would’ve never expected this. I’m a manager myself, and I was shocked by his behavior an response. I plan on taking this higher, because I literally eat here once a week due to me managing an establishment in the area! I offered to bring the wings in to show him, he kept mentioning door dash, I’m not sure where he got that from since I was the one that placed and picked up my order…then again he was over talking and wasn’t listening so I can see how that happened! He treated me as I wanted something free!!! I’m just a paying customer like everyone else, that wanted my wrong...
