Mojo Pub — Restaurant in Birmingham

I don’t really go to this bar i’ve been there on occasion and enjoyed The times I was there, but this isn’t a review this is about unjustified and unfair, treatment in public bars there’s a bartender that works there by the name, Jason Who has for one reason or another disparaged and defamed me A bartender they say can turn down service to anyone yet they call it a service industry but for you(Jason) to leave one place and come to another and think that I can no longer come there because you work there is wrong. I don’t have to drink on your time, but it’s not right for you To bring any problems you have with me there You are the most grudging and judgmental man I have ever known If you can work there and treat someone like that, I would go as far as to say African Americans are only tolerated in this place I reached out to the owner. No one ever got back to me when Black people are mistreated in white populated bars their complaints almost always go unheard if not downright ignored of...

They had a really laid back and chill kinda vibe on the inside. It also has sidewalk seating and a smoking section outfront. It felt like Cheer's, lol. You could tell most people there were regulars and knew the owners, staff and each other well. I met a friend for food and a beer. Somehow I was out of storage that day and my food pics got deleted from device🥲 But they an Italian flare to the food and menu options. I had a delicious calzone🍕 with a lot of cheese & meat on the inside, with a white Alfredo sauce on the side for dipping!👌🏾 I plan to visit again soon just for that exact menu item and this time I will post another review with a pic y'all! This year will be my 17th anniversary of moving to Birmingham, and all this time, I've not had the one thing I missed from back home: a spot. You know, MY spot; that bar that, if you say "let's get a drink", everyone automatically knows exactly where that drink is gonna happen. Walking into Mojo the first time, I got maybe 15 steps into the place and I could just feel it happening. My heart was happy. Great location, great staff, literally PERFECT mixed drinks every freaking time. Mojo is a gem and I honestly can't recommend it enough. Go. You'll love it.
