0 stars if I could. Ordered scramble. Got omelette. Tried it to avoid sending back. Didnt like it. Server admitted error. Rather than remake it, they put my already eaten food back on the griddle(disgusting)chopped it up, added an egg and brought it back. It was tough and rubbery, dry and just sad. It tasted funny. The sides were cold by then too. I said, can you please remake my order. Sure! Here’s what I received. Raw eggs. Not a little. I’m not being hyperbolic. They were swimming in raw egg. Underneath the scramble- raw egg yolk. Disgusting. I asked can this be cooked more? I was then told they wouldn’t remake it and was presented with the bill with it the item on it. We calmly and politely asked the owner to please remake it and she said no. We explained but she refused to listen. Then she reluctantly and loudly said she’d remove it from bill. To which we added, we’d rather have the food we ordered than get a refund. She loudly and rudely stated that she would not remake the order. To which we said, don’t bother refunding us, to which she said. Good! When we quietly said that they would lose our business(We are really good customers. More than once a week, have introduced to many folks)She said. Loudly, in front of other patrons. Go find somewhere else! When I went back and calmly said why are you being so rude to us? The order was wrong, she said go find another place to eat. Aside from putting eaten food back on the griddle-unhealthy- this enterprise has lost its way if the owner treats her customers that way, when her staff has made an honest mistake. The servers were nice and a few were very upset, and apologized for her treatment of us. It was awful and embarrassing. we paid for food we didn’t receive. Not to mention that going out for Sunday breakfast is supposed to be pleasant. Not upsetting. There are many other good breakfast spots nearby, who appreciate their customers, and would certainly correct their mistakes without hesitation, without embarrassing their customers, or taking their hard earned money for nothing. Those places are where we will spend our hard earned...

Read moreI visited the restaurant three days in a row with different family members. I had the same meal each day and sadly, each day my food was different.
Day 1 - sausage gravy & biscuits, blueberry lemon pancakes, omelette with Parmesan grits. The food was hot and delicious. We each had one cocktail Irish coffee and Bloody Mary, both were great. Total- $$$
Day 2 - sausage gravy & biscuits, avocado burger and fries. Today the food was ok. My brother said the burger didn’t come together the way he expected. My food was barely warm this time. We both had a Bloody Mary which was just ok today also. Due to a matter that was resolved by the owner, our food was complimentary. I did offer to pay for the meal but the owner insisted for the inconvenience that she’d take care of it. She is a very beautiful lady and kind.
Day 3 - sausage gravy & biscuits, lobster omelette, half order buttermilk pancakes, hangover breakfast. My food again was barely warm. I swear the first day my biscuits and gravy had smoke coming from them. My son didn’t enjoy the hangover meal, citing it was flavorless. My daughter was pleased with her omelette and pancakes. Today’s total was about $12 less than day 1.
Overall, it is a nice place and like other reviewers, a little bit pricey. The credit card fee was not disclosed on either visit. I only noticed when the payment receipt was different from the bill that’s given to you at the table. Once you pay, you do not get the original bill back. You also do not get a copy of the credit...
