Eddie Gaedel Pub and Grill — Restaurant in Blackberry Township

I went here on a fine THURSDAY AFTERNOON because I required nutrients to sustain my life forces. Upon walking in said establishment I was greeted by a small, cozy restaurant/bar area. I ordered THE POPPER burger and boy did it POP, it was half a pound of juicy, beefy, excellence that tickled my tastebuds into a state of euphoria and pure bliss. This POPPER BURGER, was topped with a bacon wrapped jalapeño pepper that was filled with cream cheese. Upon my first bite it ruptured like Mt. Vesuvius with ooey gooey creme cheese. How disappointing. I used to eat here all the time and even worked here at one point. I've tried to visit several times with my coworkers but learned that the times of operation had drastically changed.

We used to be open at 11am and had a wonderful lunch rush. The fact that they open at 4PM now is not only insane but horrible for trades/service workers looking to grab some food. Not only that, but many of the reviews now tell me that it's a 21+ location which is outright dumb. Half of the customers we had would bring their whole families and loved eating our foods. Installing those slot machines in an already cramped location was a terrible idea.

I'll try to get food one more time before it closes down...

Update: this place was REALLY amazing.. now they have gaming machines All over the place where they used to have tables. Very disappointing. The limes aren't even green anymore.. or is that a lemon?? We have been coming here regularly for nearly 3 years and it just went down the toilet. 🥺🥺🙄☹️☹️☹️💔

Servers/Bartenders are all amazing!! And the food!! OMG we've tried pretty much everything on the menu and STILL haven't found anything that's "just ok". It's all craveable 😋😋 Anything you get here will Not disappoint👍😊 11/22 update: they are now stocking the mixer I always ask for.. These guys really know how to make their patrons feel welcomed!!! Just LOVE this...
