I will never bring anyone to this place again. It use to be our go to place when we went for lunch before getting a tatoo across the street at 5-0 Tatoo and for any occasion we were in Elburn for. I suggested to my Aunt and Uncle we go there before an annual parade. My Aunt had a concern about her bill and was treated so rudely by the Manager Kevin. I have NEVER witnessed or experienced a manager in any situation tell a customer to call the cops if she wasn't happy. She was told she didn't know what she was talking about, was told pay her bill and never come back again. This was over 1.25 service charge fee for using her debit card. Not credit card, debit card. He said it's posted at the entrance of the bar that there would be a charge. No, there is nothing posted there. Not on the menu either. There is a notice of charge for credit card use on the recipt but not for debit use.He gave no explanation as to why. But kept drinking his beer and said too bad we've been doing this for years! Went there for Father's day with my wife and daughter. The experience started out good until we got our drinks and food. It was around 12:45 on a Sunday. We were sitting outside at our table goofing around with our daughter. me, her grandfather and my wife. Our server came to our table and told us that "our daughter was too loud and that this is a bar and the owner was sitting at the bar that we needed to quiet down and she couldn't have our daughter running around." First off my daughter was at our table not running around. Second It's very unprofessional to do this after we have ordered and received our food and third that's pretty sad if the owner doesn't like kids seeing how he could be a father or grandfather but maybe not. We have been here 4 times in 3 weeks and are fans! I can hardly wait to go back. Super friendly staff says seat yourself. There is a mix of high top tables and regular tables and chairs. There is a kind of breezeway where you are outside but out of the elements and there is also outside umbrella tables. The staff is great and help each other- just get the food out! The orders are plentiful too, we are always bringing home some leftovers. Servers to commend are Bailey, Macey and Jennifer. The eggroll app is SO good just order it NOW. The Wednesday chicken dinner is a winner winner for sure. We LOVE the mushroom swiss burger, omg 1/2 lb!, and the smoked BLT. The grilled pastrami sandwich is Chicago-deli huge and delicious.
