Paisano's Pizza & Grill — Restaurant in Blackberry Township

The food is always amazing. It’s is never a disappointment. I recommend all friends and family to this establishment. However, with how amazing this food is, amazing customer service should go hand in hand and be just as amazing. It’s always nice to be greeted with a friendly smile. However last time I went, I felt as if I was an inconvenience to the cashier taking my order. For that reason, this would have been a 3-star review but I do love the food from this establishment so I have chosen to give it 4-stars. I walked in to grab my order and not a single person working the in building was wearing a mask, including the kitchen. They did not give us the condiments we requested and were charged for - no cheese when we ordered cheese fries, no ranch with the wings. I have been disappointed with how this business (and the other business these folks own in Elburn) have handled the pandemic. I swore I would not go back months ago, but there are very limited options in this town so I decided to give them another shot. I will not make that mistake again. We have ordered so much food from this place over the past few years. Unfortunately, they have really gone down hill since they’ve been acquired by new owners. This place is now like the Comcast of pizzerias. They screw something up nearly every single order, it’s overpriced, but it’s really one of the only places around to get a decent pizza. The pizza is so good when they get it right.

This was the final straw for us: My 10 year old son wanted a burger for dinner. He ate 3/4 of it and complained that he felt sick… because he was eating a RAW BURGER. They refunded that meal, but this is unacceptable....
