Danny's Cafe — Restaurant in Blacksburg

My family ordered 5 cheese burgers and one of which was a plate with fries. Every cheese burger was cooked so rare that the blood had leaked out onto the buns, the vegetables on the cheese burgers, and the fries. Absolutely disgusting. We actually threw them in the trash. When we called to tell them about the order they told us that we had to dig the food out of the trashcan and bring it back in order to get a refund or we could have it cooked again. I wouldn't have had it cooked again to begin with, but my family insisted. When arriving to get it recooked the waitress made me wait while she ate her own food, then when it was convenient for her she got up just to come tell me she can't give me a refund unless I brought the food back. I explained to her that it was thrown in the trash. She insisted that i go dig it out of the trash and bring it back before she would even recook my order muchless give me a refund. This place is absolutely ridiculous and they have poor customer service. Danny's used to be a great place to eat, with awesome people who cared. I wouldn't recommend eating...

We stopped in today after checking out a campground nearby where they had recommended the place and I'm so glad we did! The service was phenomenal, right off the bat. We were greeted and felt like family as soon as we walked in the door. They made our food to perfection (I got a Bacon cheeseburger & asked if they could make the bacon crispy & they knocked it out of the park) and it was DELICIOUS! Everybody there were amazing we're 1,000% coming back!...

When I give a five star on atmosphere it all depends on the type of atmosphere you enjoy. This restaurant's patrons sre mostly local people who regularly eat and enjoy their community here.
