Went to this location today solely to look for and purchase ants in my pants game. My 4 year old played this at preschool and couldn't stop talking about it so I figured I would surprise him and take him to get the game tonight. We went to Walmart first and they did not have it so ventured on to target with the understanding they may not have it either. And they did not. No big deal, my son understood we may have to get it another day and we were about to head home until I saw it. It was a game I had not seen sold anywhere but I have wanted to buy it since I watched the you tube video featuring dad and son enjoying the game. It is called pie in your face. (If you have not seen the video look it up. It is fantastic.). My son was super excited as he has seen the video as well and he was already talking about how he was going to "smash" pie in mommies face. We walked across the entire store to get the whipping cream needed for the game and as always picked up a few items along the way. We get to the register and the gal starts ringing us up and gets to the game. The register flashed a message saying the game can not be sold until 10/15. I explained the game was on the shelf along with a price tag below it and there are others on the shelf as well. Cashier says would you like me to call someone over? Uh, yes I would. In the meantime, my son notices the cashier place the game in the basket under the register and starts asking why and is getting very concerned. Not sure but guessing a cashier supervisor younger gal) comes over and as the cashier is holding up the game and waving it while pointing to the screen, she says i can't do anything about that. We can not sell it until that date. I explain it along with others and a price tag are in the shelf and the response was nothing more than sorry about your luck. No apology, no sympathy, just a big fat sorry about your luck and next time don't make that mistake. That's how I left feeling. I did not purchase the other items as I was angry and now had a very upset and disappointed 4 year old who by the way knows to apologize when it is appropriate to do so and has better people skills in general than the individuals we...
Read moreI chose Target for my baby registry for the $100 welcome gift you are "supposed" to get when you create this registry. Target was the best gift out of amazon and others baby registries or so it appeared that way... I called the baby registry help line because I went into MULTIPLE Targets near me in Minneapolis and they didnt have a welcome gift to give me, not one store even. The Target Guest Relations person on the phone said they were all out of welcome gifts in Target stores all over the twin cities and pretty much everywhere and even went as far to say that the shipment of this free gift (says up to $100) is stopped for now. I asked if I could just get a $100 Target gift card sent to me instead, I thought that would be an easy solution to Targets problem of having this baby registry welcome gift out of stock for a long time but the best this Target customer rep said they could do was send me an only $15 gift card. i would of gone to Amazon or elsewhere if I would have known this before and I still have time to switch my registry to someone else and abandon this target for my 2 baby showers with 2 seperate guest lists because no one has bought anything yet and my husband and I were going to buy some things off this registry but maybe not anymore. I will spread the word online and by mouth to warn people that they won't get the Target welome gift promised if they create a baby registry for heads up if they were counting on that to help with baby items it be fair warn them first. Next baby certainly won't be a Target registry because this experience...
Read moreI purchased $233.26 worth of product the cashier did not let me put my phone number in, was supposed to give me 10% off on the wipes because it looks like someone was playing football with the box and it was the last one, I did not recieve that and the cashier charged me for a Pop It(my 13 month old Goddaughter brought it in so she wouldn't freak out) we had came in to the store with. So not only did I lose out on the 10% when I should of recieved more & $5 that you get for nothing. I also don't have credit on my Target Circle. The cashier was rude, started arguing with me when I told her I should recieve to $15 gift cards for diapers & wipes I purchased. She proceeded to ask a shift lead. and he told her to give it to me. You might want to start specifying if there is only certain sizes valid for the gift Card's, that's false advertisement. I'm extremely disappointed and I spend A LOT of money at Target. Also you may want to explain to your cashier's that. I you can still recieve a gift card when you use coupons. Speaking of which I also lost out on $3 off diapers & $2.50 off wipes. I'm extremely appalled a cashier would agree with a customer. I lost out on so much money it's absolutely uncalled for. I thought Target was about Customer Service and keeping your customer's happy. I will NEVER go back to that location and I will tell my friend's and family not to go there as well. I would appreciate a message back. I also would appreciate if you train everyone to know...
