I am beyond annoyed and disappointed about the service I received. My party person was unhelpful and rude. Let’s start with what’s wrong with the party host:
A. They had the parent and child names mixed up on the name tags(not a huge deal, but the start of the downfall).
B. I ordered my food that came with the party, and extra food. All the food came out, but not my cheese bread. My planner said I’m not sure what’s going on with your bread and walked away. It took over 45 minutes after the food came for the bread to come out.
C. My table was not setup, but both parties next to me were. The girl handed me the cups and said here goes your cups. I gave them back and asked if she could put them on the table.
D. I was confused as to who was supposed to clean the table off so we could have cake. We asked and they said they were supposed to do it. My party person was no where to be found. Myself and a few guest cleaned up the table.
E. I went and spoke with the manager. I explained the situation. The party person came out with my cheese bread. I reminded her I ordered extra sauce with it. She slammed it back down on the spot they pick the food up from and went in the kitchen. She brought it to the table and I asked if she could bring our ice cream out so we could do cake and ice cream.
F. At some point I believe someone spoke with her. She walks over to me and rudely says I thought you said you were ready to have cake and ice cream? I said I am, but how can we do that with a dirty table? At this point I was done with her attitude. I said I don’t want you anymore you’re rude and let the manager know.
G. I had 3 guest come late and I added them on and asked for pizza for them. It never came. The manager said that it was because the kitchen was backed up. It didn’t really seem like that was true. We never did get that pizza, but I did pay for those 3 kids.
I think it is important to note I’ve never had a party at Chuck E Cheese. I have no clue how everything works. I would have thought my party person would have informed me at the start of the party. That never happened.
On to what I was supposed to get and didn’t:
Collectible cup with FREE refills for the life of the cup per child- This also stated if they didn’t have it they would get a voucher to get one the next time them came. Dippin Dots ® ice cream per child Chuck E. Tote Bag for the Birthday Star 6 Helium Balloons *If unavailable birthday child will receive 1,500 additional e-e-tickets- we did get e-tickets. If I would have know I would have bought balloons. A server will help you and your guest at a decorated table with plate ware included for 2 hours!
I don’t want to be a person that puts cost into things, but that is very important in this situation. This party cost 700 dollars and do you see the numerous things that went wrong. I was giving a discount, but I truly don’t feel like it was enough.
The managers tried to make the situation better and both had good attitudes.
There was one lady working there who I think she said she was the party coordinator, I didn’t catch her name. She was hosting the party next to us and she was fabulous and was not even my person. I really want to say she went above and beyond. She was the best part of the...
Read moreAbsolutely horrible place. Whoever that older man with the short grey hair is, tell him he needs to use his brain and stop leaving his giant black tool cart out. You work at a childrens restaurant-arcade. A large rule of thumb for these types of places is the safety of kids. He leaves it out in the open for kids to just easily snatch from. He's so busy sticking his head in the games, he doesn't pay attention to his cart. Worst part is, I've been here multiple times and he often leaves the cart unattended, tools and parts laying everywhere, and he also leaves whatever arcade game he's working on also open. What's sad is, he's the only person I've seen fixing games that don't work. It seems that numerous games go out of order a lot, and only 1 person here is capable of fixing them. But when he does, it's during the day when kids are running around. Simple solution: fix the games before opening or after closing, otherwise if you can't then just don't bother. Because if you're gonna leave your tools and games wide open for the public, you're looking for a potential problem or suit on your hands. Chuck E. Cheese ensures your kids safety, and sometimes us parents can't always be monitoring our kid when they run off because other things going on. It becomes an employees watchful eye just in case the parent isn't present. And I've seen and heard the way some employees talk about this topic while they gossip. Blaming parents for anything wrong happening in your establishment. Unprofessional.
Sanitation is absolutely bad. Bathrooms don't seem to be cleaned or monitored. No paper towels except all over the floor. Came here with my niece one time, came out of the crawling tubes and had dirt and wrappers on her. I guess they don't clean up there either. Games seem to have pop spilled on them or have trash laying behind them. Go and sit at the table while eating, napkins are all stained as if someone spilled in them. Just wow.
Employees seem like they have no happiness or fun in them. You work at a place for kids and you can't even manage a smile? It's absolutely embarrassing for a place like this to have employees with such negative attitudes. That Chuck E Cheese dance is sad since they do it here both chuck e and the employee dancing with him are both dancing minimally or acting excited. If I was a child, I'd be bummed out at this Chuck E Cheese.
Incredible experience, right? You get all this with the over priced food that always comes out like it seemed rushed. I guess the staff in the kitchen doesn't care about quality food either.
Overall, poor service and...
Read moreWe had such a great experience here for my 1st daughters bday that we decided to come back for another bday party but for my 2nd daughter. We were so extremely disappointed by the staff. Our host wasn't very attentive - we had to keep chasing her down. She also initially told us Chucke wouldn't come out until 7:50pm, which was 10min before our scheduled end time. We had to ask again for them to move it to 7:30pm. The host forgot to give us our points from the blaster ticket thing and forgot to give us our card with free 20 playing points - We had to ask for it. Didn't have enough utensils and we had to ask for it. She brought out the ice cream for the kids at some point but didn't notify us - it was just sitting on the table. Our host last time went around to all the kids and made sure they got ice cream. Our host this time wasn't rude or have a terrible attitude, but she wasn't attentive and didn't seem to be on top of things. The staff giving out prizes host, was very rude to many of our party. She had a bad attitude and certainly gave us attitude. With her face expression and body language it was clear that she did not want to be there. Not sure why she works at a place with kids. Or perhaps she needs a whole lot more training. We had a large party and they knew that ahead of time, but didn't seem very prepared for us. It was a week night so it was not busy. There were only a few customers besides our party. Food was fine for what was offered. The kids had a fun time with all of the games. It's just the customer service that was disappointing - which was a large part of our experience. Our host during my other daughter's bday was amazing so we were expecting the same experience. We spent a lot of money here. Because of this most recent experience we will not be...
