My fiance and I order from the app every time we get food from Domino's. We always order no cheese on one side as I'm lactose intolerant and can't have cheese, but pizza without cheese is still very good. We tend to order later at night because we stay up late. EVERY SINGLE TIME there's cheese on the whole pizza. It sometimes seems as if there's more cheese than normal. This time, was the last straw.
We ordered for in-store pickup, a large pizza with Philly steak, light beef, bacon and extra spinach on the whole pizza, no cheese and mushrooms on the left and extra green olives, double jalapenos and normal cheese eon the right. They even called us to confirm no cheese on the left and then I asked if they could add bbq to the left. We get there and don't check it because we're really hungry. The pizza was nearly about the fall through the box by the time we got to our apartment (5 min away) and we open it and it has cheese on the whole pizza, nothing else on the left side, and pulled up high were olives and jalapeno, to the point you wouldn't be able to hold a slice(we've ordered double jalapenos and extra olives before and it was never like that), and there was a slice of that side that didn't even have anything on it. Not to mention that BBQ sauce they put on the right, not the left.
We get back to domino's to get a new pizza, and they couldn't give me a refund and said they can't control the cheese because it melts but they'll do there best. I cook often at home and I know that cheese melts obviously. He didnt need to say something that was practically demeaning, and you can control it. You can cut the pizza before you put it in the oven. Down the middle, and it wouldn't spread.
I'm unsure if they're allowed to do that by policy, but I've gotten this exact pizza from another domino's, and it had no cheese on the left side. So one way or another, they can do it. Everyone at the store looked at me and no one would come up and assist me when I got there until I asked for a manager.
This domino's is not a well established pizza joint at all. I know it's a gigantic chain and I know they can't fix every store, but they need to close this one or fire everyone and get new employees because no one there is competent enough to make a pizza.
Last note: I waited outside for my remade pizza, which they said would be 10 minutes, and went inside and only 2 people were visable(when 4 were there before) and they just glanced at me, said something to each other, looked back at me, said something to each other again, and then said it's still in the oven. It's been well more than 10 minutes.
EDIT: I got my replacement pizza, and it has green bell peppers on it instead of olives, and yet again, the side with the olives and jalapenos, had no cheese. The other side, that didn't have anything yet again, had all the cheese. And the guy had told me he tried to not get cheese on it. I went back in to show them and stood there for 5 minutes while 2 guys were there, barely looking at me, one went in the back. Another guy came back out and I tried talking to him and he was just "you'll need to talk to him I'm just a driver" and walked off without letting me say anything.
I'll be calling customer service tomorrow as well as going in when they open to get a refund. Those employees have no clue what customer service means and don't even deserve to be working...
Read moreThis store in particular needs a rating of -5 stars. Take it from someone that used to work there. This staff totally ignores the inventory tagging system which means its impossible to tell whether or not the product they use to make your food is expired or not. They leave cleaning chemicals up on the tables with the food Im very surprised not more people have gotten food poisoning from this wretched dominos. This ignorant/arrogant staff don't even wash their hands after using the bathroom. The bites and twists a premade shelf life of a couple hours but they sit on the line premade from that morning but they still pack em up and serve them to unwary customers. If you seen their make line where all your food is being made you'd probably throw up everything is literally all mixed up. For those that don't or cant eat pork I can vouch that if you order from this store you will be eating something that has touched pork. Anyone that has any type of food allergy you are in danger if you order from this store in particular. They just don't care. The GM has a fear of any type of confrontation which means if you complain to him nothing will get done about it or he'll just tell you anything you want to hear just to end the confrontation. All the assistant managers are very lazy and just want the title but take absolutely no responsibility or accountability for their position. When I worked there I had to throw away about 1/3 of the walk in freezer because it was impossible to tell what was expired and what wasn't. But when you find green pepperoni and pizza cheese you know something is very wrong. The Alfredo sauce which is made from raw eggs and dairy is left out at room temperature all day on the make line. I also got yelled at for putting covers on the food below the make line. I think because it was too hard for them to have to remove and put back on the containers. This seriously is a piss poor staff that needs to be held accountable by corporate Domino's or needs to be completely inspected by the department of health. Im sure people have got sick after eating here and most may not have realized why they were sick a day or 2 later after eating food from this dump. Most of the customers are eating expired food product. I am not lying people. 90% of the staff at this store are idiots, literally. Also I told the district manager that if this store got inspected that day they would fail miserably. He just shrugged his shoulders and said he knows that. ????đ˛đłđ¤Żđ¤˘WOW, really. Be smart and either order from another dominos or go...
Read moreMy sister in law ordered pizza for us December 26th at 10pm. We waited 2 hours, the anticipated wait time for our pizza, and then she asked me to call and check that they had received the order. (Bear in mind the pizza tracker indicated our pizza was out of the oven and ready to be delivered, that was an hour before I called) They had indeed gotten the order, and the employee explained in a panic that they were very busy and that it was on its way and would arrive shortly.
So we continue to wait. Trying to be understanding as I'm sure it is a very very busy night. It is now 2:57pm as I type this. I have tried calling three times and since I got the answering message (not the type that lets you leave a message for the store, it just hangs up.) every time in addition to checking the website, I can confirm they are now closed. She received no refund or phone call indicating that they would not be delivering her order. She waited at our house 3 hours before she had to head home as she works in the morning, and I have been waiting since then for the pizza that we ordered 5 hours ago.
I understand that it is a very busy time of year. I understand long wait times. We were willing to wait from 10pm to 3am for our pizza, I think that shows more than enough patience and understanding from us. We don't mind waiting, we've both worked retail/food service jobs, we know it's bad. I feel awful for the employees because I know that it is awful when it's that busy. I can't imagine how stressed they are.
That's not why I am posting this review. I am writing it because I am very disappointed in the fact that the store did not think to contact us and let us know that we would not recieve our order and did not have the decency to refund her money. We were willing to wait that long, we would have gladly worked with the store to either get the money refunded or come to pick up our pizza in person if that's what needed to be done. I am disappointed that they would leave an order unfilled and undelivered without ANY indication to the customer.
I will be calling in the morning to speak with the manager to try and get her money refunded if it hasn't been done already by some...
