Boomarang Diner - Blanchard — Restaurant in Blanchard

I will never eat here again. The wait staff is very unfriendly. They made me very uncomfortable, so much so I decided to take my food to go when waiting for someone to come take my order. It took forever to have a waitress. Come take my order. When I walked in there was only one other person in the restaurant who was already eating. 2 ladies and 2 kids walked in behind me. One of the 2 waitresses took the order of the people that came in behind me first. I got a coke, an old fashion hamburger w/bacon & cheese, fries and an order of cheese curds why I waited. They brought me my cheese curds while I waited for the rest of my order, they were over cooked. It took 30 minutes to get my food. When I was ready to leave I got my receipt. I asked about the price because it seem like it was a lot for what I got. When I asked about the totals lady asked my name, I told her my name -she said that’s the card I ran and that’s all the information I got. She did not go over the prices with me or ensure that she had rang me up correctly. I was already uncomfortable and had waited so long I just left since I was on my lunch break. The Fries ended up being overcooked also. My terrible lunch cost over $25! Lastly it is absolutely freezing in there...

We ordered food for pick up the other day. We ordered some chicken fried chicken since we had been craving it. When we went to pick it up we called because we thought curbside was offered, but they told us we had to come in. If they really don't offer curbside then I can't hold that against them. That's my bad. No points off for that. When we got inside the restaurant it was empty except two employees on their phones and an uncleared table from recent guests. I don't care they were on their phones at all. If you aren't busy then by all means enjoy yourself! But don't just let a table sit there with dirty dishes on it, guys! We had no problem getting our food. The problem was with eating it. It wasn't good. The chicken fried chicken breading was more like a shell. It was so crunchy that we had to crack it off and just eat the chicken. The chicken part was good though. The mashed potatoes had strange dry spots throughout, but the parts of the mashed potatoes that weren't strange did taste good! My wife and I will probably wait a while before coming back. We want to try dining in before we give up on Boomerang since we have heard...

Absolutely terrible service and food. Walked in, sat down and no one greeted us for 10 minutes. We waited an hour after we ordered, our food still wasn’t out. We asked where our food was, they immediately bring it out, and it’s cold. All of it. Both burgers, chicken fried chicken, pancakes, all of it, cold. There were families who came in after us that were greeted and served and ate before we even got our food. None of us ate our food, so I told the waitress we were not paying for our food, she said there was nothing she could do because she’s “just a waitress”. The cook said we have to pay for our food. I told them I am not paying for it. She called the manager, who said to give us a discount, they only discounted us maybe $4. Still had to pay $32 for meals we didn’t even eat....
