Updated review 2/28/24:
I’m officially done. I paid $7.99 for the sourdough breakfast sandwich, and they gave me a sandwich with hardly ANY bacon on it. Also, the bread wasn’t toasted. I’ve gotten the sandwich from several other locations, so I know what it’s supposed to look like. Whoever made this sandwich and thought it was acceptable to give to a customer should be ashamed. I’ll post a picture of the sandwich they gave me.
Also, one of the employees here has zero customer service, she doesn’t speak at all. Even when I say thank you when she hands me my order, she either says nothing, glares and walks away. Or just nods her head and walks away. There is also a balding, heavier/shorter white guy (I’m describing him this way so he doesn’t get confused with anyone else who may work here) who is extremely inappropriate. He seems to not understand the line of what’s appropriate to talk about with a customer. I’ve heard him say racist comments about black people.
And the donuts regularly have gnats crawling alllllllll over them, so I NEVER buy those. I will never buy another food item from here after this sourdough sandwich they gave me.
Original review from 3 years earlier:
This Dunkin’ is just okay. They’re noticeably more expensive than other locations on some things. For instance, the snackin’ bacon is almost $1.00 more at this location, and they only give about half as much bacon as I get at all the other locations I’ve ordered it from. The bacon was also half done, like they didn’t finish cooking it.
I don’t order breakfast sandwiches from here anymore. Because last time, there was only one piece of bacon on my sandwich (two half pieces). I wouldn’t have paid $5.00 for a sandwich, if I had known I would only get one piece of bacon.
There have also been times where they’ve forgotten part of my order, so it’s a good idea to check before you pull off.
I haven’t had problems with the drinks, they’re usually good. The employees are friendly, but I don’t know if I would make this my...
Read moreI live very close to here, so I’ve been going to this location regularly for years, and it has declined a LOT recently. Orders are slightly wrong almost every time (cream/sugar/flavoring in wrong coffees or skipped completely, even if charged for it, given wrong sizes, etc.), and it regularly takes 15+ min in the drive thru for just 1-3 coffees, regardless of if there are any other cars in front of you, or other customers inside. Because it takes so long, I often don’t even ask them to correct/remake my order, because I need to go to work, run errands, etc. afterwards, which is why I’m in the drive thru in the first place. One employee specifically, a balding white man with dark hair, either barely acknowledges you except to say the total, no “hi,” or “it’ll be just a minute,” just complete silence except for “$10.” However, he seems to only to do this when only when we’re with a man, because every time it’s just me or I’m with my other female friends, he will be overly talkative, usually complaining about his job or personal life without being asked, not the typical “how are you today?” type of talkative. I feel bad saying this because I don’t want to get him fired but we have started going to another Dunkin’ because of the general poor service + interactions we’ve had with him. I’ve worked in the food service industry before as well, so I understand the struggles, but this is getting kinda ridiculous, especially with how much the prices...
Read moreI ordered a sandwich breakfast. And I went up to the dunkin' donuts door in Homewood here and the doors were locked even though the lobby was supposed to be open at 4:00 a.m. in the morning. They do this a lot. So I had to walk to the window to get my order for what I ordered on the dunkin' donuts app. And I told them the doors were locked and I'm just here to get my food. And they looked at me like I was crazy. When the girl said well I'll open the door. But my food was right there I was in the window. If I just stood there waiting to get my food and finally one of the girls gave me my food. But they act like they're doing you a favor. I probably won't go again. Unless it's for a coffee or something. Oh yeah on top of it with the meal I got I was supposed to get hot coffee. And they gave me an iced coffee. And I go there quite regularly they know I don't order iced coffees. I'm just kind of done too. But it is the law that if you say you open up at a certain time on your son you're supposed to open up at that time. They're very inconsistent about when they want to open up the lobby doors. Here I had a walk-in order off the app and I couldn't even get inside the store to get my meal. But they definitely need to be consistent about what time they're going to open the doors according to the schedule they give on the doors that they open the lobby doors. They are so very inconsistent and sometimes can have attitudes. As if they're doing...
