Just left the place after having called in an order of fifty wings....spoke to Mike. When I arrived the area where people stand at the bar near the kitchen was empty. The lady who always wears the light blue shirt (older) was in the immediate area and looked me right in the face and greeted me not. I could see my food on the counter just outside the kitchen with the ticket bearing my name on it. So I just waited and waited and waited with money in hand and resting on the counter. Mind you while I waited that same woman stood just inside the kitchen doorway bagging food. Again never once asked me what I needed. While waiting, a gentleman came and stood next to me at which time the lady in blue came to wait on him, gathered his to go order and then cashed him out. Upon her return and his departure she went back to bagging food. Still nothing. Then the waitress walked past and again no greeting. The waitress even stood right in front of me handling silverware and napkins and still no acknowledgement. At some point, Mike asked if I were being help and I replied no. He said to give him a minute and he would return to help me. He then returned to the seated bar area and began serving customers...he was somewhat busy tending the bar. After a few minutes Mike went to the kitchen and retrieved a pizza...a to go order.. for a customer and cashed him out. The last straw for me was when another customer stood at the bar and the lady in blue greeted him and once again retrieved his to go order from the kitchen-multiple bags. All while my food just sat there. This ordeal lasted for at least 15 minutes. What was more upsetting is that I am a black female and the customers that were served were all white. Mind you I don't usually play the race card but today it was soooooo obvious. I left the bar and called the bar as I pulled out the parking lot. A woman answered and I asked to speak with Mike. He came to the phone and I explained the circumstances and that I wouldn't be purchasing the food. I wanted him to know that I hadn't overlooked picking up the order but due to the mistreatment I received I didn't want the food. I explained that he had just saw me at the bar and he was apologetic...offered to "comp" me a meal. I declined and explained I won't be returning to the bar. Funny how he could take time to talk to me on the phone but didn't have time to serve me when I was present at the bar. Even funnier is that a female answered and serviced the call. Everyone was available to deal with a phone call but not a paying customer awaiting service near the kitchen. I have been to the bar on several occasions and this is the first time I didn't enjoy myself. I want to believe that it was just an off day for staff but I can't forget that two other customers received service with a smile while I stood there waiting and waiting and waiting. Or that two people stopped what they were doing to respond to a phone call. Almost blamed myself thinking maybe I should have been brazen and just said give me my food please but it's their job to assist me in a professional manner. Sincerely thanks Mike for trying but this customer has been mistreated and simply can't ever spend her hard earned money where she isn't wanted. For the record, I am college educated and have a six figure job. Just wanted you to know that there are some awesome people who look like me in the world. Funny thing is I was going to leave a $5.00 tip on a $25.00 to go order because I was once a waitress and I respect the position. So I made a complaint on Google Maps(hench the above post) for Lassen's tap yesterday for a fraudulent charge being added to my checking account due to the fact that the waitress felt that my tip wasn't as generous enough for her as she would have liked I called the owner manager whatever her name is Chris and he told me on Friday cuz I was there the day before Thanksgiving that he would check it over and give me a call the following day he did not do that instead I had to call back on Monday when I did that so he again all of a sudden had a reason for how it happened due to their computer malfunction in the new waitress is getting used to the system I can understand however doesn't change the fact of what happened my money was taken without my permission and a signature on a receipt for the extra account was forged under my name he was even brave enough to send me the copy of my legit receipt along with the receipt that's forged and then had the nerve to tell me my original copy just so happened didn't have my signature on it but the fake copy that they said was what I signed was a very generic and very clear difference of writing from what mine was on my original legit bill so after I made this post on Google Chris the owner of the bar proceeded to call my cell phone and argue with me and tell me I was wrong which I wasn't because I even showed Brian the next day when I came in to pick up my money the two different charges on my account Chris told me he had video of me giving my card a second time and then promised to send me a copy which he has yet to do but did show me the copies of the generic receipts which I will post here and you can be the Judgment for yourself my original receipt is in the blue ink I write bubbly because I do a lot of artwork the other picture is in a generic black ink My Ink is blue because I'm a Salesman and I have my own pens and I'm very picky with what pens I use. So he's did say this was an error of his waitress staff and then happily even reimburse me nine extra dollars from what was stolen from my account told me to leave it in an envelope and left it for me at the bar which is 45 minutes away from where I actually live may not seem worth it to most but it's the principle of somebody taking my money that I did not give permission after he seen my review this morning, he called my phone 3 times in an hour and half, left voice mails even texted me. Just pure harassing me and on top of everything else curses at myself and my associate from work saying that we are liars. If you're smart there's great other taverns in the area but with alot less shity people that work there and much Better food. and ur charged only what ur approving

Read moreI just had the worst and most Racist experience I’ve ever encountered. My friend and I went in for a drink and wings. We both ordered 8 BREADED wings, sides and a drink. When our order came out my friend order was correct and my order was incorrect with naked wings. I informed the waitress that my order was incorrect and she went and told the manager. The manager came over and said she will replace the food and pointed to my friend’s food said “just like that” & I confirmed. I ordered 8 wings breaded half BBQ & Half Buffalo. The only thing that was wrong with my original order was that it was named and not breaded. Then my food came for the second time and the order was still wrong. I received breaded BBQ wings & “hot wings that were brown”. I told the manager and she got super defensive and tried to gaslight me into saying that that is what I ordered. Again my friend and I had the same order half Buffalo( an orange color)” and BBQ breaded wings. Our server Abby was very apologetic and did agree with me that was my original order and that the order probably got mixed up in the kitchen which was understandable and we payed for our tab. I did express to her I’ll pay for my meals but I didn’t want the wings because that wasn’t what I payed for. Abby said she understood and gave me the store number to contact the owner in the morning to speak about the incident. Once we got our receipts and cards back, Rachel the manager came over to our table yelling at us telling us to get out but we could barely hear her because of the loud music. She walked away and we tried to get her attention to come back to the table to get a clearer understanding on what was going on. She started to ignore us and eventually came back to the stable and started yelling again saying that we need to leave the restaurant because we were “trying to get her in trouble with the owner Chris” we stated we weren’t trying to get her in trouble and we had no problem paying for our food which we already did but I didn’t want the food because it wasn’t what I order. She then proceeded to cause a scene stating that she had already talked to the owner and we were being “dramatic”. I had not once made a scene, get upset, or threaten but to pay. I paid for a meal that wasn’t made correctly and I just wanted to talk to someone that was above Rachel because she was very aggressive, dismissive and rude. Not only were we embarrassed by getting put out but shocked. I have eaten at Lassen’s Tap multiple times and have never had an issue until tonight. I actually have brought a few friends to this establishment for business and I’m hurt and upset by this treatment. I will never go back to that establishment or recommend anyone else! I am a very understanding person and left with food I have to throw away and embarrassment. I will be taking further action with social media about this...
