Thai Street Kitchen used to be a favorite restaurant of mine and my spouse. However, recently my order for $88.90 included “Sweet & Sour Entree” with white rice and I ordered it "Mild Spice" and with this spice on the side because I am very sensitive to spicy food and I want to be able to control the spice. When I arrived home and started eating it, I found they had put the spice in with the entree and they also put some spice on the side. In addition, the white rice was very overcooked and tasteless. As a result, I couldn’t continue eating it. I know all restaurants make mistakes so I tried calling them to tell them but I could never get through calling their phone number. So I then e mailed them on their website. When I got no response to that I e mailed them a second time on their website but I never received a response to that either. My emails stated these concerns and also requested a credit or due bill for the $11.95 (with tax of $.72= $12.67) I paid for this part of my total bill. Being totally ignored like this makes me not want to ever order again from this restaurant so you may also want to consider this before you order from them.
5-9-23 I returned here recently. I spoke with one of the owners and she apologized for my previous experience. She the provided me with a credit on an order that I then placed and this order was very good. It's nice to know that they cared...
Read moreDELICIOUS - every single thing was perfection. The food was served quickly and YOU CAN TASTE THE FRESHNESS!! My husband and I just moved to the area and have been searching for a restaurant nearby with a healthy menu!! Ordered items included:
• Crispy Rolls - served with the yummiest garlic sauce! • Spring Rolls - served with also another perfect orange sauce! • Tom Yum Soup + Ckn - so fresh the lemon grass really gives a beautiful flavor and the little chicken dumplings were a nice surprise in the bowl!! • Hot & Sour soup - I usually order this because it tastes the same everywhere, but not THAI STREET // IT'S BETTER!! • Chicken Pad Prik (Medium Heat) - the house brown sauce is so good, served with plenty of fresh mushrooms (which gives this dish a WIN) • Fried Rice - I have never had fried rice as good as this, not at all greasy or heavy like most places! • 2 VERY DELICIOUS TEAS!! Tea is a must order here ☺️
VERY NICE ROMANTIC SETTING. Ann is an amazing owner who has made a great fresh restaurant - a great addition to the area!! Check out the website it's a creative and visually appealing site that makes ordering easy. Dinner hours only have dinner portions, if ordered with an extra rice it's enough to share - CANT WAIT TO TRY ALL ITEMS ON...
Read moreI am a huge Thai food fan but have been struggling to find a good Thai place since Covid. I honestly had given up PLUS I’m super picky about my Thai food.
I’ve passed by this place so often and for some reason I was thinking it would be watered down American Thai.
Maybe because it’s in a nice strip mall off Woodward, near Square Lake.
Boy, I was soooo wrong. The food was amazing. Very very flavorful. High quality. I had lunch with a friend who’s been to Thailand (more than once) and she was also very please with the food.
I even had lentils in my dish, something I’ve never seen or tried before but again, so, so, so good.
I watched, and they do a lot of carryout, which tells me everyone else already knew how good the food was, I guess I’m just late to the Thai food party.
They have an assortment of organic teas which was a nice touch AND it’s very clean inside, which is a major ‘+’ for me.
Pete, the owner, was there when we were there. Very personable man. He even came over to see how we liked our food once he learned it was our first time there.
All in all, I feel like I can breathe a sign of relief and happiness, that I’ve found high quality, flavorful, Thai food.
