Menus need to be updated. Plain and simple.

It was busy at the time we went. Service was a bit slow, however, at the peak of dinner time it is expected and forgivable.

My favorite menu item from Applebee's is the chicken wonton taco appetizer. I've had it every single trip to Applebee's for the last 4 years. The Asian style slaw really brings this dish together for me. When the food arrived, I was surprised to see creamy cole slaw with some cilantro added to it. Asian style slaw has nothing to do with creamy cole slaw, a fact that everyone should be able to agree with. Everyone except the "manager" Crystal, who was combative and argumentative. She could only tell me that every Applebee's uses the same recipe and what I got served to me was said recipe. Photographic evidence of my plate is available. To my protest, which included the plate plus the Applebee's menu photograph, she could only respond with "I'm sorry you feel that way." If this were an opinion, her condescending non-apology might have been valid. Creamy cole slaw with cilantro does not Asian style slaw make.

At the a Roseville location last week when I had the chicken wonton tacos, they were served with the correct slaw. When I urged her to call them to ask because that is the way I've had it served to me at 3 other Applebee's around Minnesota, but she absolutely refused.

Crystal does not perform well under pressure nor does she understand the essence of customer service. I will be making further complaints up the management food chain until this issue is correctly and...

TERRIBLE SERVICE. WILL NEVER RETURN. Not only was the food absolutely trash, but the service was even worse. A group of friends and I went here for dinner after work. Right off the bat the server brings out 2 plates and appetizers (which was 1/4 of our order for 8 people.) After about 1 hour we begin to wonder if we are going to get the rest of our food. After waiting for another 45 minutes we still had gotten no additional food. I ordered a bowl of soup mind you. So finally after 2 and a half hours I get my soup, and it looks disgusting and cold. Before I thought about it I asked the waiter to take it back. About 3 hours into this I just want to go home and we are all feeling like we are being held hostage waiting for our bills. The waiter brings the bills and they are completely incorrect, we all finally stip even trying to get the tabs straightened out and just all give him (our server) our debit cards. He dissapears for another 25 minutes. He comes back and we all get or cards and start to leave. Then this Server stopps ny friend and I on our way out and I claiming that one of our party did not pay and that he was going to call the cops if we left. Now mind you this server had all of our debit cards, 6 in total for 25 agonizing minutes and somehow he didnt process one of the tabs. So this became my issue. So I had to pay for my friends bill, under threat of someone calling the police because of their own inability to do their own job. Shame on you. This place is so great. I've had some issues with other Applebees in the past, but NEVER this location. My partner and I have been coming to this one for quite a while and have become regulars here. We usually come for halfapps and bring a board game to play, bring an ipad to watch a show, or just study. We have had zero issues with the staff and food. Everyone here is so kind to us, I wish I knew everyones names! Bryant, James, Ally, Nico, Bryan, Maddy, Kaylee, Hannah, and everyone is so amazing. Some of the waiters have even started to remember our orders loll. I've come here definitely over 50 times, and not once has our food been messed up. The cooks in the back are wonderful. Food comes out insanely fast too. Usually takes about 8-15 minutes!! Even when it's super busy, the staff is so kind. Once when they had a full house, James was our waiter and was so fast! He had to deal with annoying people who sat themselves and were being rude to him, but his attitude and response was amazing! Please tip your waiters!! These guys are amazing and deserve the world. Thank you to the amazing staff who are always so welcoming and kind to my partner and I. We love you guys! EDIT: I want to add Nikki on here! I used to mainly go at night so I wouldn't see her, but I love coming here and seeing Nikki. She always is wearing flashy jewelry and is the kindest hearted person ever.
