My favorite pizza place in Bloomington. Period. My favorite pizza, possibly ever, the Cream and Crimson. Mo-bears is great for hanging out with friends at a pizza place, but order Avers and bring it home to watch a game or movie (this is a carry out location only). They did open a dine in Avers on the east side by Kroger, but I haven't eaten there yet. Anyways, the Cream and Crimson. It's a crust that has just the right crunch when you bite into it before it becomes the perfect texture of well cooked dough. Sauce is an alfredo sauce, totally different from the normal tomato, but works so well with the toppings. Cheese is cheddar and gorgonzola on top of mozzarella. I don't usually eat gorgonzola but it's so tasty on here. Next is dill seasoned potatoes and bacon. I don't usually like dill either, but again, it amazing on here. Overall it's a pizza that you would never expect to make but it is the most amazing creation ever. I'm serious, you need to try this. Other bits of information. Crust and breadsticks are made from the same dough, which is vegan. I have a friend who is vegan who really appreciates this. For a tasty vegan pizza, do BBQ sauce and pineapples, cook crust 'well-done' to make sure the pineapples are nice and caramelized. You probably won't even miss the cheese because it's so tasty. Also, try to loganberry juice. It is a hybrid blackberry/raspberry fruit and makes an awesome drink. Finally, they have the 'Crazy Avers' deal, which is a one topping 10 inch, breadsticks, drinks, and cookies. Basically the same as Mo-bears; one dollar more for the deal, 50 cents cheaper when upgrading to a large. Cookies are prepackaged, not nearly as good as Mo-bear brownies, but the pizza...
Read moreVery good pizza. I ordered the Crazy Aver's deal. I got a 12" pepperoni, 12 bread sticks, cheese sauce, and two drinks
The pizza is good. It has a light, airy crust. The tomato sauce and cheese made the pizza. The tomato sauce is a little thick so you get a very nice tomato flavor, but it's not overpowering.
The cheese is very soft mozzarella that is stringy and allows the slices to be removed from the pizza without tearing the toppings off the other sl7cesin the pie.
I think the best part is that reheating this pizza in the microwave really doesn't change the pizza at all. Usually pizza gets super doughy or super hard in the microwave. Aver's tasted almost as good as the day I had it fresh.
The bread sticks were also good. They were crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. They also were salted, which was excellent. The cheese sauce was enough for all 12 sticks.
Overall, very good food with big portions. Will...
Read moreOriginal review: Website says dine in is open. Locations are not open. Need to keep their info up to date if you are posting it.
Edit: the original review was written from someone who was from out of town without a place to take and eat. I also don't know how your locations are setup... Again, from out of town... It doesn't help that if you Google pizza buffet all of your locations show up. Not just the one that you said had the option. I get you can't control Google completely. Your website, if that answers what website, says 'lobbies' are open. While I admit upon further reading you literally just meant where you pickup and pay but to some, from different parts of the country, a lobby could mean a food lobby... Like where you eat... It is indeed confusing and not clear and could cause someone wasted time and effort if they had not called ahead like I did because I felt...
