Was here on a college move-in day with my niece on August 18, 2024 there were four different different employees that walk past me at the front front of the door I was given no welcome. No give me a moment someone will be with you. The next server that walked past was the fifth server and I asked to speak to the manager. The manager came out and said oh I’m sorry we don’t have a front server. I asked so are we supposed to seat ourselves? The manager then seated my family party of 6. Her response was I hope your dining experience is better. Well, the dining experience started off all wrong. Our waiter came to the table informed us right away that they had several drinks that were not available that they basically only had water Coke and Diet Coke. There was no lemonade, Spirt, orange juice, apple juice, pineapple juice for the kids menu only water or tea sweet or unsweetened. About 10 minutes later the server comes back to the table to inform us that the tea is being made again and did we want water to hold us off until the tea was made. We say fine no worries. The food comes out and the order was was not right and food was like warm and mozzarella sticks were cold. I again asked for the manager and she discounted the check, upon looking over the check we still were being charged for the teas that we never received because of it being rebrewed. So again the check had to be altered. These was the worst experience ever. Our family then had to find another...
Read moreAs a former Chilihead, I have to say pains me to write this review. I have loved Chili’s since I was a child and eventually ended up working at multiple locations. Oh how times have changed. Tonight we went to this chili’s and our server was fine, clearly busy, but not supported. The 2 hosts did very little as far as assisting in bussing or sweeping to keep the tables and isles clean. Most of the 1.5 hours we were seated the tables all over the restaurant went unbussed. Two of which for the entire time we were there. I get those tables cannot be sat due the limited capacity rules right now, but a host or server walked by well over twenty times. What happened to full hands in, full hands out? Our server wasn’t great at this, but at least he had an excuse as he had at least 8 tables at a time. I counted the other servers and section size and this should not have been an issue. This is clearly a leadership issue. The outside area along front and the fence is full of trash and not maintained, is the manger travel path no longer a thing? I understand when you are in the weeds and short on help, this was not that. There was old dirt and new mess everywhere. The food was fine, but I couldn’t get past the lack of guidance/leadership this team had. In an hour and half did not witness one table touch, or direction given by anyone in charge. The staff and the guest suffer...
Read moreThree friends and I decided to have lunch at Chili's on a Saturday afternoon. Some of us had not eaten indoors for a while and a couple of us were immune compromised. So we were relieved to find the restaurant wasn't too busy. They were entire sections that were empty. So we asked the hostess to sit us as far away from others as she could, and she proceeded to sit us right next to another booth. In fact all the customers were seated in the same area back to back. The hostess told us the other sections were closed. When our waitress came I asked again if we could be seated away from other tables. She said she needed to talk to her manager, and came back shortly after to move us to a table away from others. That experience was disappointing but I was very happy the waitress accommodated us. It seems smart to spread people out in your restaurant instead of sitting everybody in the same section. I'll have to say the rest of the visit was great. Our food was great, the portions were large and I feel like we got great service and value for the money. Like many restaurants they were understaffed and they did a great job of taking care of us despite this. Other than the hostess, I felt we got great service and everyone really pitched in to make things work. I had not been to Chili's for a long time, but I'll...
