I am writing to express my deep frustration and disappointment with the repeated issues at Chipotles' France Ave location. This store consistently fails to meet even basic standards of service, and I feel compelled to share my recent experience in the hope that changes will be implemented.
This location is constantly out of items being promoted through the national market plan—a clear reflection of poor management. The customer service is abysmal, with no direction behind the counter and staff who are unprofessional and inattentive. Calls to the store go unanswered, and every visit seems to come with a new issue with our order.
On our last visit on 3/9/25 at 10:50 AM, we were overcharged for guacamole on both burrito bowls, even though we specifically asked for it on only one. The mistake was made by the same staff member who prepared the order. When we returned the next day to address the issue, the counter person dismissively said, "What, do you want a refund?" instead of apologizing for the inconvenience and promptly issuing the refund. This lack of courtesy was disappointing, and no effort was made to resolve the matter or encourage us to visit again.
To make matters worse, as we left, the counter staff laughed at my wife, which added insult to injury. This behavior is wholly unacceptable and beyond unprofessional. It has solidified our decision that this will be the last time we visit this store.

I arrived two minutes after my pickup time, checked in at the cash register, and stood their waiting for 15 minutes watching them make orders for other people who arrived after me. When I politely asked the cashier what was going on, the manager came storming out of the back unprompted and raised his voice at me, further admitting that they were out of chicken, black beans, lettuce, and fajitas, now fully 30 minutes after I had placed the order and been charged for it through the app. Every item in my order had at least half of these. We would have been left with burrito bowls full of nothing but rice, sour cream, cheese, and salsa. I had to calm him down, doing my best "sir, I understand you're going through a rough time" while I'm the one who's half starved and on the edge of a panic attack.
I ordered through the app to minimize the time spent in the store and face to face contact necessary, but there was no indication they were missing such a large part of the menu. Instead of substitutions, coupons or anything else, he gave me a phone number for an automated line where I spent even longer on hold to no avail. Trying to get a refund through the app didn't work either. Apparently I need to do a charge back through my credit card just to get my money after receiving no food and wasting a ton of my time.
Don't bother. I went to Taco Bell instead and got a better meal for half the money with zero hassle, while still working to get in touch with Chipotle...
Read moreOn October 13th at 5:45 I stopped into the chipotle located in France avenue to pick up my order to be ready by 5:45. I placed the order at 5:15. Upon arriving the Restaurant was empty however my order was not ready for pick up . I was informed it was being finished. 15 minutes later when I asked about my order they had just started it. The employee that informed me my order would be ready said to the manger that the order was there but did not get sent correctly and had to be postponed for some reason. After waiting my order was incorrectly made. I requested 2 burritos and instead got 2?bowls. I informed the Manager I was not happy to wait over 15 minutes from the time the order was suppose to be ready because the restaurant was given a 30 minute timeframe to complete the order and on top of that the order was wrong . They could have informed of the issues from the start and I would have been happy to place my order thru the regular line. When I informed the manager , older Latino male - I assume was the manager, he said what do you want , a refund , It is my job to make you happy right? He said this in a very loud, sarcastic, rude and condescending tone . When I said no , he said I can have some coupons and threw them in my order bag . I cannot believe you have someone working in your establishment that treats customers this way. At this time I plan to never step foot into another chipotle.
