A few weeks ago, I went inside to order a drink and food only to hear a district manager inform the general manager to adjust his labor to fit his customers' needs better.
Fast forward til today. I place an order ahead at 11:45am to pick up with a couple drinks, food, and donuts. I circle around to pick up my order at 12pm only to be told that they are not able to make food because they are cleaning all the machines for the food. No sign at the drive-thru speaker box either. I asked if this was a professional company they had hired to do so where a specific work order had internally been out in, and it was not. The employee stated that the machines were too dirty and needing cleaned so they aren't able to make the food.
I've worked fast food before, and cleaning is usually done at the end of the day. Additionally, if food is not available to made, then why not block that from being ordered on the app like other companies do when something is not available/out of stock? If cleaning is done towards the end of shift everyday like everywhere else, what could've prompted a complete shut down of all food making machines during the middle of the day?
Other visits to this location have been successful. The employees are usually on top of it with each order. The drinks and donuts that I picked up from this order were great. Whomever is making these decisions or being forced to do so should reevaluate a more appropriate action plan.
Proposed solution: Maybe clean one machine at a time if labor has to be trimmed down that much over the...
Read moreThe service I received this morning was the worst service I have received anywhere. There were 4 employees and I was actively ignored by two of them while the other two were actually working. I went straight to the pickup shelf since I had placed a mobile order, but they have the food/drinks placed on their side to where you need to ask for your food. One gentleman made eye contact me with twice while walking back and forth to somewhere. I figured he was busy and I wasn't in a hurry so I just patiently waited. Then the gentleman that was at the drive through came over when there were no more cars and started rearranging the mobile orders, but never asking if I was there for pickup and then he proceeded to walk away. Another customer walked in and was waiting a couple feet behind me. The first gentleman asked him if he had an order, gave him his order, and then went back to ignoring my presence. He then pretended to be busy helping out with the drive through even though clearly the second gentleman needed no help. I finally just asked a third gentleman that I made eye contact who was working on orders in the back area if I could just grab my stuff. I finally got my things, but if you are going to have a tray for mobile orders AND ignore your customers then use it! Why keep the orders towards your side if you can't even ask if I have a to go order? This was worse than McDonald's service and that's...
Read moreWe stopped in for an early breakfast treat this morning. That's always the best time to go to ANY donut shop: soon after they open. You not only get the best selection but also...the donuts are extremely fresh. I know they likely make donuts all day long seeing as they are open into the early evening. There's just something about that early morning batch though. We always go inside to order...have never used the drive-thru. While service has always been just fine...they do kind of push you to order quickly to keep the line moving. I get it...not a big deal...just sometimes it takes a minute to figure out exactly what we want...and...how much. They offer a small dine-in area too...if you so choose to do so. I rarely get any coffee but...I did today. I tried an iced regular coffee...and...it was good. I did figure out I'm not much of an iced coffee person however. Haha! The donuts have never disappointed. They are the main draw afterall. I liked having my favorite donut shaped as a heart today...Valentine's month cuteness. We enjoy their donuts...and...will always stop at a Dunkin' when the...
