Eric Gordon's Greek's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Bloomington

We found our new favorite pizza place! Seriously! Great! We took our family on a Wednesday night at about 6:30pm. We were able to sit down right away without a wait. We had our two teens and two year old twins. It was very clean. Tables were all clean and chairs pushed in. We sat down and I went to the counter. I was greeted right away by a very polite and helpful employee. I told him that this was the first time we had been in and asked him for any recommendations. He was very helpful with ordering. We ended up ordering the pepperoni, Greek’s Special pizza and two orders of breadsticks with both marinara sauce and cheese sauce. Our very picky teens loved everything. They brought out the breadsticks first and my teens raved about the sauce and garlic buttery topped breadsticks. They really were delicious. Then they brought out our pizza and placed it on a rack in the center of our table. I appreciate that they actually transferred the pizza from the hot pizza oven pan to a cool to the touch pan before serving it to our table. The toppings were very fresh tasting. If you’re looking for a great pizza that doesn’t taste like cardboard, this is it! As an added bonus, the walls are plastered with IU athletes from every sport. It’s such a cool place to visit as an IU fan. Such a cool tribute to IU athletics. I wasn’t sure how it all worked so I asked. You order at the counter, they bring out your food and drinks and then they buss your table. So be sure to leave stop! The cost was a little over $50 for our order. I’m sure this place gets super busy on game nights. As a new Bloomingtonian, I am very happy to have found our new favorite family pizza place! I can’t wait to try the Stromboli! Very frustrating experience. I ordered delivery from Doordash, which kept getting delayed. When I got the text photo about my order I immediately could tell it was the wrong order, I told the dasher who said she checked with the store and confirmed it was supposed to be the right one. Food gets here and it is in fact 100% the wrong order. Mind you, this already took an hour. I call the store to let them know, they say they are very busy but if I resubmit to have the order resent thru doordash that they will prioritize remaking it and getting it to me. Cool. But another hour goes by. Then with no notice or call from the store, I get an alert that all of my pizzas were canceled. So I call the store and they tell me they ended up running out of dough so they couldn't make my order. Remember, this is the order they messed up and promised they would prioritize remaking an hour prior. They say they are sorry and to come in on Sunday (this was on a Friday) because they will probably still be too busy to handle our order on Saturday??? So after two hours at 9pm I was left with no food, still out of what I originally paid money wise, and no real solution. I'm not sure what they are doing there, but I recommend staying far, far away until they fix...

Caution to early in the day orders! We ordered online and selected the earliest pickup time- 11:20am. We were at work and had time to pick up then in between clients. Went to the store and at 11:30 the store was still not open (stated online that the store opened at 11:00am). The first employee showed up after 11:30 and I was able to go in. He expressed there was a shift change and that should have reflected in their hours but their manager did not change the online hours so the website and google were incorrect. He did give 2 bottles of coke to us for free for the inconvenience but overall seemed callous about the whole situation since it wasn’t his fault. Luckily we had some extra time to wait at this point but cut it very close for getting back to work which was why we scheduled ahead. Disappointing service. Overall, the pizza was extremely good and the breadstick were decent but slightly overcooked. The cheese sauce was tasty and the pizza was hot.
