Mugsy's — Restaurant in Bloomington

I was a Mugsy’s virgin, but yesterday I gave myself away... My first mission: wings. It’s hard to find quality wings in the Midwest, but thankfully my search led me to Mugsy’s. Their wings are crispy, tender and juicy inside. The wait staff is dope! Attentive, friendly and beautiful. The bar has a welcoming blue collar atmosphere that offers great music selections and a ton of space for comfortable seating.

Wednesday is all day happy hour. The bar patrons are friendly and make you feel a part of the scene at Mugsy’s.

Lemon pepper wings aren’t huge in the Midwest, but you have to try theirs. Phenomenal! Not too much lemon flavor; just hinted, with a nice tangy flavor. The hot wings were on point and a must. I did a flavor split with my order, which was offered by my server.

I’ll visit here anytime I’m in Bloomington.

If you're looking for a fun pub experience this is definitely the place. it doesn't hurt that it was a cold snowy February night so walking into a nice warm cozy pub was quite inviting

We had an appetizer of mozzarella cheese sticks and some boneless chicken wings. The cheese sticks were nice and crispy and the mozzarella was melting and falling out of it perfectly. We ordered lemon pepper chicken wings we were used to a dry rub so these are wet wing but outside of that they're delicious.

I had the mushroom Swiss burger in it too was cooked to perfection the mushrooms were nice and hot and the steam made the bun perfect consistency of the bread that you want

And to finish it off we had the chocolate drizzle brownie which almost had a hint of caramel or peanut butter flavor to it and they heated it up and the graham cracker crust was a perfect finish.

Overall it was a great experience and if we're back in this area we are definitely going to...

Customer service is bad. Quality of food has declined. Their website is atrocious and annoying. They will lie to you about prices and policies. It just really isn't worth the hassle most of the time. A friend and I once went in there and told the bartender we heard about a wing special they were doing that day. She looked extremely confused and said she didn't know what we were talking about. Well okay, we came for wings so we each ordered some with fries to go. We both had a drink while we waited for the food to cook. The food arrived and the bartender handed us both our bills and then told us that the wing deal was actually a call-in special only. Turns out she wasn't confused and knew about a special the entire time. She just waited until we ordered and paid to let us know how we could've said like 75%.
