So this was possibly the most bizarre experience I’ve ever had at a fast food restaurant. It was very busy, close to the dinning room closing hours, my husband, two kids and there friend were exhausted from being at the fair for hours and decided to grab something before heading home for the kids. I don’t ever go into these places but the car was cramped and we had no be extra kid then normal. We aren’t used to the new “self order rules” and we had just completed are order and I went to get grab cups for the kids for there drinks we had already paid for. No one was at the desk to advise us and the staff were very busy. So reached over the counter I grabbed some cups, honestly had no idea if this was what I was supposed to do but figured if not I would be redirected by the staff. And I was just not in a way I would have thought, some young man yelled across the kitchen, “you don’t reach over the count here at my restaurant you need to leave”. Apparently to Tyler (I asked his name), this was enough to just straight kick us out of the restaurant, we tried to point out the signs were misleading, but he just kept telling us they basically don’t deal with people like us. Honestly baffled by his hostility, we were just kind of quiet and like ok, but we need a refund we just spent $50 dollars on food. Apparently not having the credentials to do this he tried and then got someone else, by this time another staff and already made and given are food so we just took it and left. Now all this being said I’ve been a psych nurse for seven years now, and I have dangerous patient reach over my desk, usually to grab something to hurt themselves with or beat me in the head with… sadly both somewhat common events. Just found it so ironic that he was that upset over something so minor, when I deal with being attack by people on the regular and definitely do not get as upset or rude over a simple misunderstanding on my part. Read moreCouldn't get the app to work so I went in to use the machine to place my order. Watched while 2 men stood with their food for at least 5 minutes waiting on their drinks but everytime they tried to talk to anyone who happened to come up front because their was no one up there, they were ignored. I finally stepped up, called out to the back to get someone to help them and finally then they got their drinks. If the person who handed them their food had taken 2 seconds to say, do you have everything you need, this wouldn't have happened. So I get my food, check the items in the bag to find my chips were dumped in the bottom of the bag but I ignored that and without opening each item the order looked correct so I drove 40 minutes home only to find the nacho cheese containers weren't even half full and my custom tacos were made wrong. I ordered extra meat, little lettuce and extra cheese only to get regular tacos but paid for the extras. Don't know yet if my hubby's order was made correctly but since it was custom, I doubt it. I understand they were busy but this is unacceptable. Oh by the way, the chips were stale. I would have given zero stars but since that isn't an option, it's 1. One last comment, while waiting I also heard someone yell from the back to lock the front door because too many people were in the building. Read moreApart from the usual mistakes of messing up orders, today was a next level. I waited 2 hours for my order.
I had to ask an employee twice about it to which she said she is checking on it then not actually doing it. I watched people coming in after and ordering in front of me get their orders quicker. This is extremely unprofessional and does not embody “fast food.” After repeatedly telling employees and another customer even having to speak on my behalf, they finally made it. Two hours later. I stood for two hours waiting for 4 items.
The manager said he can either take my food or give me a refund because I requested one. What an understanding manager, Dominic or Dominick. He upgraded my drink to large as if that was the right hospitality choice. After making a customer wait 2 hours, 120 minutes, you can’t even refund me? He told me it might have gotten stolen and word for word said “you have not been waiting here for two hours.” Check your damn security footage and transactional SMS.
I already have reached out to corporate but this retail front is extremely understaffed and I know this from experience and everyone there complaining on a daily basis. The management is poor...
