Went there to get refund on moldy tomatos bought day before(happens frequently, they hide the awful parts). Anyway over just throwing them out, this time they can eat the cost. Anyway they had their finest working customer service. People in front of me were buying a tracfone. The finest gave them six or seven to choose from. Then proceeded to price check each one for them. Here I stand with my pkg of tomatos while they are trying to decide which phone they want and he is also providing variou s minute plans. Are you kidding me? Let them mull over the choices, refund my money and a minute or so I will be on my way. I made this suggestion to the finest who obviously loved his authority and power, and basically he said I would not be waiting an hour as I had stated in a none too professional tone of voice. Ok, an hr. Might be an exageration, but just the fact he did have the ability to wait on me and still make the other customer still feel valued, says it all. Just the fact the customer did not insist on it says alot of society. I would have insisted he help the person behind me while I chose. This Kroger is dirty, most employees, not ALL could care less and have attitudes to go with it. I told finest that no prob, I will just go out in car and rate them left with my rotten tomatos. I heard finest make remark something You just do that. And so I did. When I get home I plan on calling corporate 800 number. On that phone call I plan on providing date,...
Read morepoorly managed in the eve. tonight my experience was the manager on duty pulled a bagger off the line and sent him in front of me, with the managers child in the cart, to make a purchase before legitimate customers. while announcing to the workers that she couldn't do it because she wasn't on break. Perfect example of how things are when she is over seeing things. KROGER GET IT TOGETHER. KYLE COME IN AFTER HOURS AND WATCH HOW THE FRONT END RUNS. When I asked my checker and the kid who Jackie sent through the line to shop for her "who the manager on duty is" no one in the general area could tell me, then they shrugged their shoulders and "GUESSED" it was Jackie. At least there were carts tonight. I think after multiple experiences like this at this store that used to be great, I will take my business elsewhere. Pity, some accountability and training would probably fix the problem.Kudos to my checker and bagger, they were the best I've had at this location in...
Read moreI have shopped here for almost 20 years. the pharamcy staff is great and will go above and beyond to make sure you get a good price on meds not covered by insurance. there is one issue that really irks me about the store. I usually like to grocery shop at night since there are fewer people. and when I shop I buy a lot. they only have the self checkouts open after a certain point and here I am with $200 worth of groceries. I have asked if someone can open a register to check me out and I'm always told they don't have anyone on duty who can open a register. so I spend at least 20-30 minutes trying to scan and bag all my own stuff and they don't offer you a discount for being forced to do this yourself either. I think there should always be someone available to open a register at night when someone comes in with a cart full of groceries and asks to be checked out instead of fighting with the self check outs to do...
