I am going to try not to let my most previous experience here sully my opinion of the White Castle in Bloomington, however, it was pretty disappointing. I ordered 4 Crave cases using the app and it gave me a 11:39 pick up time. I went through the drive thru to pick up my food and was told to pull ahead and wait near the front door. 45 minutes later, someone brought out 3 Crave Cases and I told them I had ordered 4. The person argued with me and told me I was wrong, then went back inside to bring me a receipt and pointed to it and told me I didn’t know what I was talking about. I took the receipt and politely showed them that it did, in fact, show 4 crave cases. I waited another 20 minutes for the last crave case and it was basically tossed in my car, not a word, or a “sorry about the wait” or anything. Start to finish , about an hour and 10 minutes to get “fast” food for my employees. I understand it was a big order, but White Castle didn’t have a problem charging my credit card, so they shouldn’t have a problem making my order. Just about every time I go to this location they get everything right and I have no problems. Today, I went and when I was asked what kind of drink I wanted with my meal, i asked for water. Now, most places will give me water in a cup with ice at no extra charge (it's water, right?). So when I asked for water, she replied that she had bottled water. I said that was fine because it's water, who charges for water? She forgot to mention that that bottle of water was an extra $1.29. If she had mentioned that I would have forgot about the water. I'm very disappointed that I wasn't warned about the extra price of water when I ordered it. When I confronted the employee, she told me that the water bottle wasn't included in the meal and so it was extra. And when I asked her to just give me water with ice, she did nothing. I left angry. Read moreI don't get out to the city much and when I do I always try to swing through a White Castle and have a few sitting down at the joint and then I order a sack to take home to my family. What was cool about this appointment was how friendly enjoyful. The gentleman was that took the order. He had set your positive spin on everything he had eye contact. He took my order twice. And was ultra friendly both times normally at a fast food restaurant. I don't keep, but this guy was exceptional. And I felt he needed to be recognized. So I gave them a a little bit, not anything crazy, but just enough to say hey, I notice your attitude and it made my day. I think his name was Leon, but I don't remember his name tag. This review will tell you which White Castle I went to & hopefully, you will be able to find the employee's name.
