Zantigo — Restaurant in Bloomington

This place is racist. My father works for DoorDash and had an order to pick up from there. It was busy so my father understood that it would take a while, so he asked an employee if the DoorDash order is ready and they replied to him “we’re working on it” 20 minutes pass by and the workers ignore him and were only paying attention to the white customers. My dad goes to a worker and asks again if they had a time frame and the fat old white man screams at him “Get out of my store now! Never come back here!” My dad was shocked they replied to him that way. My father and I both work in the customer service industry (both of us work at the same restaurant) for years so we understand that when it gets busy it may be frustrating but to scream at customers like that when they want a time frame is very unprofessional. Just now (1/27) We walked in and were greeted by a friendly Brooke who kindly asked us to wait as she had to go finish working/cooking on a previous order. The general manager was setting up the only cashiers till machine (didn’t acknowledge us or welcome us) and then left her to herself to make everyone’s food and make people wait to order cuz she was the only one. His office is right next to the cashier and his door was open- fully aware that people were waiting to order and he didn’t do anything to help her either make the food or take orders. I grabbed my order and he was literally sitting there, in his office, door wide open 2 ft from view that people were waiting and she was also cooking the food by herself. Back in the late seventies, before Taco Bell overtook Minnesota, this was the greatest fast food Mexican place and my parents brought me there all the time. Taco Bell forced them out of town with their cheaper ingredients,, and for over 20 years I missed this place. They're back now with the same classic menu. The Chilito is what they're famous for so if you go you must order one!! Or three!! Unlike their competitors who sell nachos with a cup of "cheese" sauce they still melt real cheese over chips. It's fast food, and your food WILL come out fast, but it still looks and tastes like a sit-down Mexican restaurant.
