Duluth Trading Company — Local services in Bloomington

So I’ll start by saying I’m a loyal customer to Duluth trading company. I have been buying their pants for the past 6/7 years and I only wear their pants. They are great. I purchase 2-4 pairs a year depending and also buy other stuff for my family there. They have a great exchange policy there that the actual employees told me about. I was told their pants have a one year warranty and should last a year. Every once in a while I’ll wear a hold in my pants from work and they are junk. I was in the store the other day and had casually asked if the hold around my crotch would be coverd for an exchange, the employee said absolutely! Just wash them and bring them in. So here I am a few days later, pants in hand ready for a quick exchange. The lady working the front was pretty rude to the customer Infront of me when she was just trying to pickup her online order. Very short seemed like we were bothering here being in the store. She also had her friend there that was standing behind the counter (kinda weird) customer in front of me actually had asked the friend if she worked there and was somewhat confused about the situation. I should have just taken that as a sign to leave then. The employee was really short with me, gave me a hard time about the exchange saying the pants were not covered. Fine I don’t want to take advantage of the exchange policy but I was told it would be covered previously by another employee at that store days prior. She said only because another employee said I could the other day she would make an exception. Made me feel like I was in the wrong. Each pair of pants there in almost 90 dollars. I spend money there. Come on. Then after I grabbed the new pants and started the exchange the other employee gave me and hard time about it as well. i had to then reexplain my self. I don’t want to be a problem for them. I don’t ever ask for a new pair of pants and I never will again. Probably going to stop going to this store all together if it’s such a burden for the staff to be nice and polite and help me out. Bad customer service. Get it together. This fleece hoodie is one of the Best! 8 years ago I bought an AKHG full zip hoodie and it slowly became my favorite amongst all the top brands. I searched for another and I could never find another like it until now. And this new hoodie preforms! Water runs right off the thing. It’s so comfortable you’ll want to wear it at home all the time! The warmth this keeps on you makes it perfect for bringing the trash out, doing the leaves, fishing… the front pocket comes with a “safe pocket” I call it. My AirPods I do NOT want to loose are safely kept in that pocket even after you remove the hoodie. Don’t forget the elastic bottom to keep those wind drafts from chilling your core. Duluth stores are well kept with friendly staff. They recently expanded their women's section to include 1X-3X shirts, which are a godsend. I have moderately burly arms, and most brand's flannels and other LS shirts arms are too skinny. The Duluth arms are more generous, and with the gussets and stretchy back slits, they really do live up to the marketing with respect to range of motion. Items are a little pricey, but go on sale regularly. The website is easy to use, and I haven't had any problems with my online orders. The only catch with ordering online is that there is typically a $50 minimum to get free shipping. There are workarounds for that though -- there is free shipping to any store, or, if you find yourself in store and they are missing the size/color you want, you can order from a computer in the store and get free shipping to your home with no minimum order. I used the order-in-store option on Sunday and my shirt should be here on Thursday, which is at least as fast as a regular...
