Went in today to order a very simple meal. I have a milk allergy and always order simple to make it foolproof. I ordered spaghetti with extremely light oil and garlic, and very dry well done grilled chicken on top. I do not like anything extra. Sounds simple right?! Not here. The server brought out a soup dish lol. It had spaghetti with chicken broth, whole cloves of garlic, and very wet like boiled cuts of chicken. I could only stare at it flabbergasted for a minute. I questioned what it was. She said itâs what you ordered. I said no itâs not. And repeated my order. I was expecting almost dry spaghetti, diced garlic and a sliced grilled chicken breast on top. I said that is not what I ordered I can not eat that lol. She brought it back to the kitchen shaking her head, came out again and explained that the âcookâ put chicken broth on it. I said I didnât order soup! I again dumbstruck repeated my order and asked them to take it off my bill. So here comes out the âcookâ and said thatâs how they make spaghetti, with chicken broth?! Iâm having to argue with him in the dining room on why this is not what I ordered, and why I order something so specific. Itâs not rocket science. Just following directions. They both had horrible attitudes and were shaking their heads at me. I should have taken a picture it looked so weird with whole garlic cloves, chicken broth, spaghetti and sliced-not grilled-chicken. It literally looked like soup. He was telling me I was wrong for ordering what I did because they donât make it that way. My life depends on every thing I put in my mouth. Anaphylaxis allergy is no joke. They then upcharged my $.50 side of fries to $4.00 to make themselves feel better. It was about plate of fries the size of a cup saucer. Do not waste your time and money here they are awful. They Do not admit their mistakes or try to make things right. Believe me when I get what I order and donât go to the hospital from eating my food we leave a huge tip, well over 20%. He yelled at us going out the door about that too. Totally no class and an embarrassment to the establishment. Disgusting experience. And yes I will spread the word. Makes me literally sick just thinking about it. If you have special food needs or order something special donât go here. They do not care about you as a customer. They just...
Read moreSeveral months ago 4 of us came with for dinner. After ordering, we waited almost an hour before the food was brought outâŚ.for 3 of us. The waitress told us sheâd be right out with the fourth meal. After 25 minutes of waiting, she finally brought out the food my friend had ordered. By then the rest of us were done eating and our friend had lost her appetite. The waitress of course blamed the kitchen, and management blamed the waitress. Our friends were âcompensatedâ free drinks. Management refused to take a penny off their bill. Needless to say they refuse to go back again. My husband and I continued to eat there, even with the mixup. We figuredâŚ.mistakes happen. Tonight it was our turn. My husband ordered pizza and I got a wrap. We waited and waited, with the waitress apologizing over and over, telling us our meal would be out in a few minutes. One hour later, the waitress comes out apologizing, saying that she got busy and never put our order in. She said it was being made as we speak. My wrap came out, but my husbandâs pizza didnât. I gave him half of my wrap and fries (he was starving) and told the waitress to box the pizza to go. She brought the pizza out anywayâŚno box. She told us we would not have to pay for everything we ordered. She brings the bill a few minutes later and tells us management wonât comp or discount our meals but we can have free soda. After we said it wasnât enough her response was âwell it would have taken a while for your food to come out anywayâŚand I did offer you free dessert. (We didnât want dessertâŚtheir selection sucks). Now WE wonât go back anymore. Not a good way to conduct business, That's Amore owners! Youâve lost our friendâs business and now ours also and we are letting everyone know how you run...
Read moreThis place has the best pizza Iâve had in the US.
While the pizza itself was absolutely scrumptious, the service and hospitality of all the staff was on par or perhaps even better. Before I get to that, the location is also beautiful, with a fountain and statue right across the road. We sat outside, and our server helped us move some tables to accommodate for our groups size. Mandy, our waitress, was not only kind and respectful, but asked questions about specific preferences and brought out all the seasonings we requested. The young man cooking up the pizzas came out to greet us and check in on how the food was. All in all, the service was quick and the hospitality top-tier.
As for the food, we ordered two large pizzas for our starving group of 8. While at first the price of the pizzas may seem high, once they come out, it makes total sense when you see them: each pizza would be an XXLarge from Papa Johnâs or Dominos (and even after we finished eating, there were a few leftover slices).
We got both the garlic white sauce pizza and the Margherita. While the white sauce one was great, the margherita just completely outshined it in my opinion. We asked both to be made âwell-doneâ, and that provided us with a robust and beautifully burnished crust and underside, while the cheese remained perfectly melty and the crust held a light and fluffy crumb. The Margherita here was the best Iâve had in the US (in a long time at the very least). If youâre stopping by Bloomsburg, definitely make sure to come...
