On our way from Detroit to Lexington, we stopped on the northside of Cincinnati for lunch at a relatively new kosher restaurant called Orange Spot Bistro. We made the right choice, in fact the only choice. It was chol moed Succos, and they have the only kosher sukkah in town when dining out, according to the locals we spoke with who were also eating there. As I understand it, the restaurant was built by a successful businessman who owns several nursing homes in the area, and he wanted to make sure his observant employees had a place to eat for breakfast and lunch. Wow, that's a tremendous chesed (kindness). The Sukkah itself is behind the building. It's expertly built with two large concrete picnic tables. The setting is very park-like and away from traffic. We enjoyed a good spicy Hawaiian pizza and curly fries. The only thing I didn't like was the ordering process on a large screen at the counter. It requires two many steps: scroll, select, add, confirm, go back, scroll, select something else, add, confirm, repeat. It takes too long, especially when ordering for a large group. Sometimes, hi-tech isn't, and in my opinion, this is one of those times. Other than that mild frustration, the restaurant is amazingly large, with an outdoor seating option, too. Apparently, there is a meat menu, as well. I'm not sure how that works, but I assume it's been sorted out in the kitchen. Otherwise, Lubavitchers wouldn't eat there.

A bit disappointed what I got compared to the actual picture. Eggplant was breaded. Food was okay but I will go back and try something else next time.

Very promising, self service, clean , spacious, nice quiet atmosphere, I was excited to dine in a Kosher “Panera style restaurant “ I ordered the falafel plate , which arrived with 6 falafels inside a plain pita , with a sample size serving of salad , and something that looked like tahini but tasted nothing like tahini . One sad small pickle , my latte was so sweet I couldn’t drink . Such disappointment, I did complain, the server offered me something else , I declined! I will go back , mainly because I want to support a kosher place...

First time visiting and had their cold smoked salmon toast, plus curly fries. I really enjoyed the salmon and the price was agreeable. Fries portion was very large, and I couldn't finish them, but I was able to reheat in my toaster oven later that evening. It came with a spiffy aioli, and the fries were consistent in size and quality. I believe they missed the capers for the sandwich, but I...
