Gold Spoon Creamery - Ice Cream & Coffee — Restaurant in Blue Ash

My teenage son and I visited GOLD Spoon for the first time and to sum up the experience in one word: YUUUUMMMMM!!! I absolutely love the ambiance of the shop, and the Summit Park area is a perfect place to enjoy ice cream, in general. We were immediately greeted as we walked in by three of the friendliest servers and offered to sample any of the flavors. One of my favorite flavors, coconut chip, was not available, so the server suggested I try the vegan chocolate- chocolate chip because it is made with coconut milk. Typically, I find chocolate ice cream to be boring. However, this vegan version was game-changing. The coconut milk was well pronounced and made made my taste buds sing. I decided to order a milkshake prepared with both pistachio and vegan chocolate ice cream. OMGOODNESS! It was so good. My son opted for a cotton candy milkshake, and he was equally excited about his choice. Needless to say, we will be returning...

Sign says the founders are ice cream people. Tried the mountain mint, vegan chocolate chocolate chip, strawberry, blueberry and lemon sorbet. I have to wonder if the founders are fans of the party pail. Traditional flavors lack creaminess. Vegan flavors are available, made with coconut milk. The vegan flavors were preferred for texture and flavor by everyone in our family. Strawberry was something like ice milk with strawberry jelly swirl. Waffle cones are made onsite. The waffle is good. Chocolate dipped cones are dipped in something I would not qualify as chocolate... Maybe melted hollow chocolate bunnies. The lemon sorbet was incredible! Just the right amount of tart and sweet. Mountain mint was truly strong fresh mint. They earned two stars for disappointing us on 3 out...

Gold Spoon Creamery is a hidden gem that totally exceeded my expectations. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm, welcoming atmosphere and the incredible smell of freshly made waffle cones. The ice cream itself is next level—super creamy, rich, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients.

They also have a great variety of unique flavors that you don’t see everywhere, and they rotate them often, which keeps things exciting. The staff was friendly, patient, and happy to let me sample a few flavors before deciding.
