Abby Girl Sweets — Restaurant in Blue Ash

This use to be my favorite bakery. As I entered, the case had gnats flying around on the cupcakes. I asked if they had more in the back and the lady got them from the back. She mentioned she told the owner about the gnats. I ordered their banana pudding cupcakes and started eating them immediately as soon as I got in the car. As I'm driving away, I noticed I'm getting a chewy texture. I pull over to examine the cupcake and notice black, chewy, raisin texture substance in my cupcake. I immediately go back and the lady tells me, it's the banana pudding. I'm not sure how pudding would turn black and chewy. She was nice but didn't offer to replace them. I contacted another location who told me, they're for sure that came from not properly cleansing the baking pan. This is totally unacceptable and so not right. My wife isn’t a sweets person, and I have my favorite local bakery but it’s not a regular stop by any means. So, when it came time to figure out what we were going to do about a dessert at our wedding, we didn’t feel bad at all by saying “no cake.” However, we still wanted to provide something for our guests that truly did have a sweet tooth, and decided cupcakes would be the best choice. We are so glad we did!

My wife and I picked up a sample of Abby Girl’s cupcakes and were instantly hooked. Between the absolutely delicious flavors and the variety of choices, we knew we had picked the perfect treat for the big day! We went with Strawberry Delight, Red Velvet (our absolute favorite) and something delicious for the chocolate lovers: Black Raspberry Chip!

Ordering was incredibly easy, and we had no trouble picking them up the day of our wedding. I cannot recommend Abby Girl Sweets...

First time visiting Abby Girl Sweets. I wasn't disappointed with the cupcakes that were ordered. We we're able to find this location fairly easy from the Google directions, yay! It's a cute little shop that has a few tables and chairs to eat in. The young lady at the counter greeted us as we came in. When we placed our order any question we had was politely answered. We got a dozen cupcakes of various flavors. I'd say the spiced carrot was my favorite. If I had any complaints its that the cupcakes were smaller than what I'm used to but good all the same.
