The restaurant is really nice looking and the service was okay albeit confusing at times. The food is nothing special and honestly with the price tag weighing on the mind it really isn’t enjoyable. They charge 6$ per soda which to me is outrageous considering other Ferraro’s restaurants less than a thirty second walk are less than half that. I truly enjoyed bites by Ferraro but can never and will never recommend this restaurant. I paid 36$ for Unagi don with that price one would expect either large portions or great quality but i got neither they serve the Unagi in a small bowl with little more than a cup of rice, the food was not salted at all and the rice was plain. They also skimp massively on the sauce, then the Eel itself was bland and didn’t jump out with rich flavors. The Takoyaki was again expensive and again not interesting. The miso soup and the Yaki soba was bland. Overall if you want to spend $100+ on unsalted food in a weird strange environment, give that money to a homeless man outside of a grocery store and see what he makes instead. At least that way you know he cared. I don’t usually write harsh reviews and i honest to god love Bites by Ferraro’s but Kurokoi was just not up to expectation especially when all other Ferraro restaurants stay packed out.

I thought it was unbelievable that this place had 5 stars, so I had to check it out. I genuinely don’t have a single complaint. I was greeted and seated immediately. I requested to be at the bar, and the restaurant was very empty. More people should definitely try this restaurant. Everyone was so attentive to me, which was extra lovely because it was my birthday. Justin, my server, did not miss with his awesome recommendations. Chef/Manager Allen was very informative and kind, too. Everything I had was so delicious and flavorful. I really don’t think you’ll go wrong with anything here. It is a bit expensive, but if you can afford it, I would 10 out of 10 recommend it.

How is this restaurant in Blue Ridge, GA? The menu, food quality, atmosphere, and level of service are all fantastic! Our server, Scotty, was amazingly helpful and attentive. We started with the pork dumplings, the best we've ever tasted, which set a high bar. One of our entrée selections was the Wagyu Ishiyaki. You get to sear strips of Wagyu on a blazing hot stone at your table. This made a fun experience and resulted in a richly flavorful steak. The drink menu was diverse and offered some unique options well paired to the menu and overall experience. This restaurant is a must visit!

Me and my husband were visiting Blue Ridge for our anniversary and looking for a nice restaurant with good food and wanted something different. I came upon this restaurant and was really curious about all the 5 star reviews and all I can say is this restaurant did not disappoint us. When we first walked in we were immediately greeted and seated to our spot we chose on the patio since it was such a good night to dine outside. The ambiance at Kurokoi was inviting and beautiful. Our server, Amber was great, she was really nice and attentive to all our needs and even gave us great recommendations on the lychee cocktail which was phenomenal and so different from any cocktail we have ever had before. We ordered the crab sunomono appetizer and the unagi sushi which was hands down some of the best sushi we have ever tasted and we got the stone grilled wagyu steak which was amazing along with the experience of the stone grill. Chef Allen came by to introduce himself and talk with us which so nice! He even treated us to some Japanese cheesecake in honor of our anniversary. I’m so sad this place is over 2 hours away but I would definitely drive to this amazing restaurant again because it...

Kurokoi isn't just a sushi restaurant; it's an experience. From the moment you step inside, the ambiance wraps you in a sense of serene sophistication, perfectly setting the stage for the culinary journey ahead. The decor is modern yet inviting, with subtle nods to traditional Japanese aesthetics, creating a space that feels both elegant and comfortable.

The true stars of Kurokoi are the staff. Our servers, Alexa, Michael, and Justin were exceptional. They navigated the menu with ease, offering insightful recommendations and patiently answering all our questions. Their attentiveness was perfectly balanced – always there when needed, but never intrusive. The food runner, Finn, delivered each dish with a smile and a clear explanation, adding to the overall positive experience.

But let's talk about the sushi. Each piece was a work of art, meticulously crafted with the freshest ingredients. The fish was incredibly tender, practically melting in your mouth, and the rice was perfectly seasoned. From classic rolls to innovative creations, every dish was a testament to the chef's skill and passion. Kurokoi isn't just a meal; it's a culinary adventure that will leave you...
