Had a great time at the Mountain Joy cabin. Enjoyed it's awesome features: hot tub, fancy shower heads, sleep number beds, full kitchen, tv with Direct tv, fun games, keyless entry, grill on deck, in house washer and dryer. The place was clean inside, outside the was a water hose hanging off the side of the deck all tangled up, under the deck was a bunch of boards scattered all over, next to the cabin were ripped open garbage bags of mulch, and the gas fire place didn't work. Tried to call someone about it, but it's difficult to get cell service. We arrived after hours and the office had a convenient 'after hours box' with all of our check in information waiting for us with detailed directions to the cabin (cell service is spotty so gps cuts out). The roads are difficult to navigate at night, as it is the moutains, but the moutain roads to the cabins are paved. It's location is very secluded, but still close to town for shopping and groceries.

Absolutely the best place for relaxing vacation and cabin rentals!! We have been coming to "Our Cabins" for over 10 years and we have never been disappointed!! We really feel as if the cabins are our home away from home. They are always spotlessly clean and they always have the amenities that you would need to feel at home. We always dealt with Holly when we reserved but if she's she's not available, then we are always helped with friendly service. We come at least twice a year and generally reserve the same cabins when we come for an anniversary trip or for a mini family vacation. And as I said.. are never, ever disappointed!! The scenery, sights, and the hot tub, make this the perfect vacation for us!!

We rented the Bach Laurel cabin from these folks. The process was easy, the cabin was quaint clean and updated with all new appliances. The property was maintained and private on a wooded mountain with nothing but nature surrounding it. They delivered on all their promises and the cabin is better than what pictures show.

We recently rented a cabin called Emerald Inlet. The cabin was paid off in full for our trip in July. I called the office about a week ago and wanted some info on fireworks for the 4th of July. I got info on that plus was also told that the owners sold the cabin we have already paid off. I was told by Debbie to choose out of the nine cabins they have left on site for the dates I chose. I wasn’t really fond of what I had to choose for the same price at first. However, my husband called because we just couldn’t settle for choosing something we didn’t really want. We then got a lovely call back from Holly and she offered us another cabin that was about to be put back on the site and even drive to cabin to take some pictures for us to see if we were Interested. We didn’t care so much for that one only because the bottom half wasnt fully furnished. So she then offered us two more cabins and one of the cabins I absolutely loved called Patty’s Porch. We chose this one. I have to say that she is wonderful. She went over and beyond for us. She didn’t give up on us. Also we have been using them for about 6 years now and haven’t chose any other rental place. We have always had a good experience with A Blue Ridge vacation. The staff has always been a wonderful help and always taken care of you. Also to any future owners that want to use A blue ridge vacation this is the rental cabin company to use. Holly and her team do a great job at keeping the cabins clean when we arrive. The properties are managed very well. That’s how it’s suppose to be. Holly keep up the great work and the awesome customer service you provide for your customers. It will always go along way and you will deff have return customers just because you take good care them. Thanks so much for going over and beyond for Jacob and I. Anyone looking at this review give A Blue Ridge Vacation a try you will be...

At first I was so excited to find a cabin rental with fees that were not astronomical. I opted for the $300 security deposit hold at booking. From there it just gets worse. I emailed the liability form back to the company more than a week before check in as instructed. In that email I asked to purchase the $40 insurance in lieu of the $300 hold. I received a response that it would be purchased. Check in day rolls around and I get a notification that $300 was charged to my credit card!!. I called and they said they would cancel it. Our vacation rolls around, the cabin itself wasn’t bad. The patio furniture did smell like dog and so did the carpets in the house. We didn’t stay in the cabin too much besides recharge time. We check out as instructed (they had two different sets of instructions with contradicting instructions, but w/e). During my check out, I noticed the $300 was still pending!!! The next day I get a text saying we broke their air hockey table and futon (both items we did not use during our stay). After receiving that TEXT, I replied we didn’t use those items. Then no response. I feel like I’m about to be scammed out of $300 still sitting on my card and they’re just mad I didn’t opt for the hold. We always leave things better than we found them and to be told that we broke furniture that wasn’t even used is disrespectful to say the least....

We had a great time at Riverwatch , I cant wait to rent this home again. The cabin was professionally cleaned at check-in time. The views and nature sounds were beautiful and relaxing. We enjoyed meals outside . We all enjoyed walking around safely on the wide porches. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals and there were plenty of dishes and glassware. The driveway was very pleasant and very easy to park plenty of vehicles. There is a long flight of stairs to the rocks and river below, but we were able to use them with no trouble. Also there are steps that go right down to the waters edge, great for getting in the water. The location was quiet and felt completely remote and peaceful. Even so, the Toccoa Riverside Restaurant (delicious local trout and desserts!) and the Lilly Pad family activity center (mini golf, fishing, gem mining) were less than a five minute drive away and downtown Blue Ridge (delightful shops and food) and grocery stores were only 20 minutes away. The owner was responsive to all our questions as we...
