I’ve been a local/loyal customer here for a year now. The workers are knowledgeable of their products but lack customer service and good faith interest in repeat customers.

Store closed 15 minutes early on a busy Saturday workers and management told my friend and I to bug-off essentially with no kind greeting. I understand that work-life-balance comes first but maintaining professionalism and keeping integrity (your word) is important in business and respect from start to finish. To Ricks, response. You did not greet me with a “hello”. The first word said was, “Hello, how are you doing!” - said by myself. You instead rushed me and my friend away with no explanation besides that you were closing up with a poor attitude. My friend drove down from Tennessee specifically to see your store as I referred him. Instead, you forced us away before close. Second, I did not re-enter your store. Instead as the door was closing, I stopped it to ask that you update your store-hours, and then allowed it to shut and proceeded-on. You were in the back of the store, so you might had perceived it as yelling. Regardless, myself and family extended are local to the area and have spent thousands $$$ at your establishment, have treated the staff there with respect and enjoy the products that are offered. We just expect a little bit better clarity and a kinder attitude towards customers. I had one of the worst customer experiences I’ve ever had. My wife loves this shop. They do have a lot of really cool stuff. There was an item my wife particularly liked. I thought I would buy it for her for Mother’s Day. Now, we live 2 hours away. Their website says we don’t sell online, but call us and we’ll take your order over the phone. Great. I’ll do that. Except when I called, they said they would not ship because the item was breakable (no mention of that on the website). OK, I’ll drive 4 hours to buy it because I love my wife. I get there (during business hours posted) to find the shop closed. I call the shop and am told they were closed because they were taking a delivery. The employee who answered said sorry come back in an hour. I explained that I had driven 2 hours, did not have the time to wait and knew exactly what I wanted. I begged that he please open the shop for the 3 minutes it would take to make the purchase. He again said come back in an hour. I have worked in specialty retail for 30 years. If one of my employees had treated a customer so poorly, I would have fired them on the spot. I hope you never have the need for some actual service, because you certainly will not get it here.

Wow. If you are the owner, I genuinely feel sorry for your customers and staff. Your Customer LAST philosophy will not serve you well. I apologize for the profanity, I thought I had hung up before I screamed at my phone because of the infuriating experience I had just had. I stand behind everything in my original review.. I am a rock nerd who travels a lot. I hunt down rock & crystal shops everywhere that I travel to & will happily dig thru the dusty, dirtiest bits & pieces just to find a nice addition to my admittedly uncontrollable collection. This place was not dusty or dirty & everything is clearly put on display & labeled correctly. (IYKYK about mislabeled things in rock shops) Really cool shop with really awesome pieces that might actually be the best “rock shop” that I’ve found. The jewelry is absolutely beautiful & prices range from inexpensive to expensive with equal offerings of all price ranges. Same goes for the rocks, crystals & mineral specimens.

The guys working both upstairs & downstairs were super friendly & helpful. Prices are more than fair for what’s being offered & honestly it’s worth a visit just to look at everything. I enjoyed just looking at the pieces on display. I found some rock/minerals that I had been wanting to add to my collection & was absolutely astounded at how high quality the pieces were. To be fair though, I didn’t see a single low quality piece of anything. Even the dice sets & bead bracelets were good quality.

It’s an enjoyable, interesting & absolutely a shop to check out. (Make sure to check out the shop on the lower level.) I will absolutely be back the next time I wander...
